It's ok so far. It's interesting to learn some different techniques and meet new people. I'm the youngest in my class though which is a bit weird :[

haha, being the youngest in your class will be one of the least weird things you'll experience at an art school.

Also, since your just starting, Go read some of these FYASO. its a little self depreciating humor for artist, their all in good fun though.

I think her shirt and the creature ( dragon? ) should be slightly brighter. Also I think it would look better with the eyes a different color than the skin.

It's just a very simple base colour. Haven't done the eyes or highlights yet. It's just so i know the basic colour of it. Also it's night in the picture if that helps set the scene a little :3

I know it's night, but I still think they should be a little more contrasted from the background.

Hopefully when i get the other colours in it will look better :3 the highlights will cover most of that base colour. Thanks for the crit ^_^

Try setting the layer with your sketch to overlay and colouring on a layer beneath it.
