Greetings, this seems like the right place for me to be at the moment. I am afraid I am in the weird art zone of "not being awful" but not really "good at anything in particular" either. I think I do a fair job at lineart and vector art but I am weak at lighting and colors, along with animation. Hopefully more practice will tell me more about what direction I want to go with my art because I feel rather spread thin. Anyways here is some of my work. I mostly work with the same characters.

A lot of cool stuff you have here. The last two pieces are fairly good but seem unfinished and slightly messy but show that you know about light and other concepts; so I think you just need to practice more and you'll develop a more refined looking style for painting.

Your lineart and vector drawings are really good and well done, they just need more colour.

Pfffft. Everything I see here is pretty awesome, to my eyes at least. Yeah, the coloured stuff could be a little more polished, but even as is you're looking good. Love the look of your characters. Hope to see more soon.

I mean this with respect but, ask yourself, do these look professional? I would say not, and any professional would say so as well. I want to get to the level that you see in commercial products such as comics and other published illustrations. In that light my stuff is rather bland, I fail to specialize in any one thing in particular and I try all sorts of things which makes me average in more areas but without any specialized qualities.

Anyways I am unsure how this forum feels about adult images but I have recently branched out into that for anatomical practice. Gets boring drawing 3 pages of hands and such. Kind of worried about posting them here though. Anyways this is for you~

I think you've laid a solid foundation for yourself skill and style wise. No matter how good an artist you are there will always be room for improvement. And a lot of professional artists have work that looks less professional than what you've posted. The scott pilgrim comics for example (esp the first couple) are pretty rough around the edges but they sell well and have a big budget hollywood film based on them. It's good that you're so focused on improving though. Yay.

Love the style - very comical, very "bouncy", or flexible, and very, well, fun. Great work, and I would like to see some more "finished" (coloured and whatnot) art in this thread - it really is a good job so far.

The hips in that last picture seem excessively wide, in a not even cartoony fashion.

You should for sure color this! I love the lines, the swoopiness (swoo-penis), the general expression. It's kind of hard to tell where its mouth begins and ends but again, if you colored it, I think it would fix it.
