I'll be just using the free version of Elite, (or not at all, I'm not terribly interested in it) I very much doubt I'll get all the DLC as it's usually a ripoff.

I can see people being sick and tired of CoD multiplayer if the 20 prestige rumour is true.

I guess it depends on how much you play. I'd never bought any map packs before Black Ops, but the guys I started playing with all buy the new map packs so I copied them, just to be able to play, but it does add some verity to the game until you become used to all the new maps.

I've definitely had £40 worth of fun from the four Black Ops maps, but when you look at it like that, I've spent £80 on that game in total.

The 15 prestiges in Black Ops was the easiest of all the Call of Duty games, 15 on Modern Warfare 2 would take twice as long.

You don't like it, don't get it. But being naive enough to believe anyone cares about what you think is incredibly ignorant. Trust me baby I know, COD "forumula" never changes. Just new guns, new enviroments, different killstreaks and different single player. But you know what? People do. not. care. So what if each gave is like an expansion of the first? People like it. People want to play it.

Captalism is a bitch but it puts food on the table so hey, better than if they spent their money on some foriegn product like Sony, Toshiba or the like. Activision is founded in America, which gives us jobs and their products reel in more cash than if we just tarrifed imported goods from Japan. The "formula" works. You know, I would've like to see more weapons in MW3. The m1014, PP-2000, Ranger, FAL, 93R, SCAR-H, Mac 10, M202, TAR-21, and Intervention should've been brought back. There should've also been other weapons like the Saiga 12, M32 (instead of M320), Tac 50, Vintorez, Aug A3, 500 Magnum, PP-19 Bizon (instead of PP-90), Uzi, M3 Super 90, HK416, and REC7.

Judging by the state of single player campaigns for most modern FPS games, you can't blame me for assuming that this will most likely be everyone's reaction.

Little to none changes? I didn't know that previous CoD's had Kill confirmed, or the new flag holding mode. I also didn't know that Shit Ops had Survival Mode or strike packages.

Call of duty is a great franchise, and it's how I started gaming. Ever since the first call of duty. If your not a dumbass, you understand why they keep creating these games. Yes, money is a part of it. But also, if there is 900,000+ gamers playing CoD in the US alone, think worldwide. Black Ops sold over 5,000,000 copies on the first day of the release. That's $300,000,000, US wide. Second day was $250,000,000. And it's still ranging from $50K-100K a day now, even though black ops is still an unfinished game. They make it for the fans. Activision's main game IS call of duty.

Any FPS Player has played this, I guarantee it. Whether it's 1,2,3,4,5,6,7, or 8, call of duty is a great franchise and I'll still play it even when I turn 30.

Battlefield on the other hand, is a money hogging game. I like the game, but.. from EA, it's shit. If the game was how it was made by activision or sledgehammer, you wouldn't have to buy the game always new. You can't even rent the game to play multiplayer. If you want to play multiplayer, you really must get it new. If you buy it preowned, it's actually $65. It cost $10 for an online passcode.

If EA wasn't a money hoarding business, they wouldn't claim that for a multi-billion dollar business, is that having 400,000+ players on is a big deal for their servers. Really? Bullshit. It's not. Not comparing, but call of duty does it daily without pass codes, AND they are worth less.

Both Call of duty and Battlefield are good games. Can't say both companies are good, because only 1 is. Like another 4,000,000 people, I'll be getting MW3 at mid night release in 18 hours.
