Mmm... the background and sun would be what I'd change if I were you. The dad/blockhead/foamy are pretty good.

The bg just seems a little lackluster... And the sun kind of makes me sad.

Probably make the arm effect a little transparent because it looks like an arabian sword to me.

Thanks Rhunyc. I was thinking along the same lines. I'm definitely changing the background and sun's expression.

It's a scimitar-like sword. It's not an arm effect. At least, I don't think Sakupen's Dad character can change his arm into sword .

That's been severely effect raped. Try manual shading / lighting. It should look better than bevels and such.

I didn't use bevels at all on this piece. And I didn't use Photoshop bundle effects. If anything, I use multiple layers (there is a lot of them) and use blending effects that come with the layers.

looks amazing... Love what you did to alien hominid. Adding details is generally the hardest part of drawing such simple things in your own style. At least, adding details isnt that hard, but doing it in such a way that they actually improve the drawing, and still keep the character easily recognizable.

Wow Jonas, you need to lay off the bottle and start learning proper English.
Secondly, too everyone I am super impressed with each peice I have seen so far. I take into consideration that you all have different art styles and it's nice too see a mix of all of them together. This is a great idea. Great work everyone, and I can't wait too see more!
