this is a flash collab, I'm afraid you'd have had to actually animate something. just... pictures... wouldn't really do us any good.

where we are NOW:

the picture thing was an audition system which we dropped because the collab isn't as popular as we thought it would be.you still MUST draw a picture, post it, and have it reviewed before you can begin animating, however.

I already sort of had a plan for the menu... the menu cant be made til all parts are. the menu will be made up of images from everyone's movies.

The audition phase isn't active anymore due to lack of interest so I believe you should start animating seeing as you've given us a model which is on par with the standerd of work were looking for.

forbid... we're still reviewing pictures before they edit. that way, they don't make a whole animation with a model that could be better. once you stasrt animating, there isn't much you can do to improve your characters.

but you still must show us your picture, and have it critiqued so that it can be as good as possible

forbid, I'm sorry I haven't been around lately. I didn't tell you before, it didn't seem important than, but I already had a pretty intricate plan for the menu.

I finished about 1/3 of the basic animation for my 1st cartoon (not the prologue - i'm still working on that) so i decided to upload it on spamtheweb for you guys to get an idea on how i'm animating and so on... Comments are greatly accepted...let's make this thing a front-pace animation :P

Ps. There's still no sound, and the explosions are still absent - all i've got are the flashes, aaaaaand the tank's still lacking guns, designs and so on :P

i have come across a huge problem that I didn't think of before. I don't have flash 8 is that an obvious problem for this collaberation, I only have 7.2.

anyway, I was gone for a while to paint my new crimson fist army. I feel like a loser because I spent about 30 hours on it, and it was painted in less than a week. that a lot of the sitting upon the ass time spending.

but yeah, It's done now. unfortunately I didn't get a flash togethor for the winter competition but I'll live..

on a more on-task note... a flash 7.2 file shouldn't be a problem... I'm sure flash 8 is reverse compatible.

I too have like 5 ideas worked out... but many will be less than 15 seconds long... so I now give animators the option to instead of making 1 or 2 30 second parts, make 3 or 4 short and sweet parts.
