Not bad!

Both of the main models look really good, as does the shading. I like the perspective of the piece, it's pretty unique. I like the way that the creature looks. The design of it looks like it flows and nothing about the creature seems out of place.

However, I think the ground texture is kind of unfitting. The texture itself is pretty low quality, and it just looks strange and empty. I think it would look better if it were grass, or at least had patches of grass. The background also looks too empty.

Overall, it looks good, but it needs some work.

Good for a first thing

Well for a first thing, it looks pretty good. Perhaps some improvement in the background would be better - it just looks too empty. The ground requires some better texture too.

The body looks good and funny lol. I liked the looking of the mushroom. Also something looks wrong or weird in the ground - there is some kind of division over there, or is just me. :P

Overall it looks good.

Simplicity works well

i like the fact that you kept simple for your first piece like this. its nice and all. i especially like the shape of the little animal/insect. what is that thing exactly? did you make it yourself?since the tiny little creature is barely the size of the mushroom,it kind of reminds me that there are many,MANY one-celled organisms. I like the idea you put through,even through you might not have thought about it.

now,i still like how you kept simple,but i think you could've added a couple of things,like maybe the terrain would be green to represent grass or actually have grass around.also,for 3d Art,i think the picture size you took was a bit too small,i would suggest making the size bigger as well.

lastly,i think that this is quite a change from what art you have made earlier. i looked it through,and it seems to me you've made the right choice changing your pace.next thing i would suggest is something a bit more complicated,like say a prarie?or maybe a small section of a desert? those are just things i came up with,im sure you'll get better ideas than that.

overall,i like it. it's simple,it has a ground and a sky,and it has a cute little creature too :3 it's a nice change of pace from before,and i believe that with practice and experimentation,you can make more.

Well it was a very nice change from simply seeing heads all the time anyways. I see you got blue skies in the background and a rocky ground area. That is one small animal too which is nice to see.

The mushroom kind of just shows that we have such small creatures on the planet that contribute a lot to the world such as bees, ants, and other bugs and animals. The mushroom has some nice detailings on it though so it works.

The creature itself is just completely weird looking to me actually. It has a teal colored body and it just moves along with its day as it looks for food to eat and possibly other creatures of its kind to go towards. That or it could bea freaky mutated creature of some kind.

Overall, nice change in artwork.

Nice to see you try doing something abit different this time, you didn't do too bad, but there are some things you should look into.

The ground really doesn't look that good, it looks more like the ground in an older game, with really large textures. The creature itself is creatuve and cute, the eyes are really good, but the feet look a bit weird, hind feet being different to his front feet. His right front feet looks like it's a part of the nose.

The mushroom isn't too bad, but there is a weird black line on the bottom of it, and the dots look somewhat bad. It actually looks like the cap is 2D, while the rest is 3D.

Give yourself more time with your work and don't stop untill it's really finished, and I'm pretty sure that'd improve it a lot.
