One of the last human survivors, you find yourself stranded on an uninhabited island. With a few other victims of the crash, can you craft, mine, and build your way to survival?

Updates can be seen in my news feed: https://davidmaletz.newgrounds.com/news/

Aground was designed around the theme of Progression, and inspired by Utopian Mining and other mining/crafting games. You start out with almost nothing, and you can eventually build your way up to a thriving settlement.

Currently, you can only explore and build on the first few islands, but we have lots of plans for expansion, and the sky is literally not the limit. Check out our Kickstarter ( http://kck.st/2rSTnGZ ) to support these expansions!

We're planning to continue developing Aground based on feedback and suggestions from players, so definitely send me a message or post in our subreddit ( https://www.reddit.com/r/aground/ ) or discord ( https://discord.gg/69Jj6MB ) to determine the course of this game.

Controls are explained in game, and it can be played with keyboard or gamepad. The mouse can also be used to navigate menus (but is not required).

For players who want to play on multiple computers/versions of the game: Save files can be exported from the Options menu on the title page and imported by dragging and dropping the save file into the game.

very good game I imagine that the suitese found on Steam but for a free game and flash he deserves to his name best of the year

Other then it being a bit short, (which I know you're working on), this is an amazing game, I have been playing for 2 days and I have completed two endings. It has so much do do, and the reason I think it is a bit short is because it is so fun, so I play it too much and I finish pretty quickly. Otherwise, this is an amazing game and it deserves some love.

P.S. I would like to know how many endings there are if it is not too much work.

Yes, we're working on making the game longer, it just takes time to make update :) . There are only two "endings" in the current version, but that's actually just travelling off to two different islands and two different paths (science and magic). The final game currently has three planned endings.

I honestly think this game deserves a nomination for top game 2017 or 2018. Its storyline makes you feel like you have been shipwrecked for real! if ANYONE tries to delete this game, F*** OFF!!!

I would greatly appreciate more from the sailing aspect; to travel to other parts of the world and create colonies there, improving technology and maybe even getting to the point of having a full castle, or city, or something to that effect. You could also tie in the dragon there as well, as dragons could come to the castle and will have to decide if the dragon is friendly or not.

Amazing game, I was never bored, crafting, trading, surviving, are all good aspects of the game that kept me going.

The game seems like it shouldn't need an ending, as I'd rather keep on playing the game and seeing what else there is to offer. Minecraft has an endgame, but it doesn't necessarily END the game.

Overall, this is an amazing game that I will come back to periodically and watch the progress.

Bye for now!

We're working on sailing/flying and visiting other islands. It should be out in an update in late January - and you will be able to get new technology and magic and bring it back to your starting island.

I'm glad you liked the game, and there is a planned endgame, but you'll be able to continue to play as long as you want after that (although there wont be a lot of new tech and quests afterwards).

I had a lot of fun playing this, I hope more is coming out soon. I wasn't expecting finishing the boat to be the last thing

We're definitely planning on adding more! Also, you should load your slot (it saved right before you set sail) and explore a little more, as there's actually a second ending to the game.
