I liked the pace of it. A lot of RPGs can get bogged down with too much setting, but you sort of threw us right into it. The writing was simple but correct (unlike 90% of flash games) and made enough sense to satisfy me.
I also liked what I saw of the characters (I only played 1, a Necromancer) and the items.
I did have one problem, though, and that was the music. While I'm glad you didn't pull some epic techno crap from the music pages, the music you did have was fairly lackluster, the loop being too short and the variety being too small.
I also felt a little powerless sometimes. From the dialogue etc., it's pretty clear that Rogan is the actual party leader, which I don't mind but some people might and might want to have dialogue options, just for fun. The other control issue is that this game uses a party dynamic, but I have no control over Rogan's level progression or, more importantly, over my summons' actions! I don't need to have absolute control over them, but maybe I cold tell my demon to cause damage or to cause statuses. It was very frustrating seeing it waste its MP on earthquake in the same turn Rogan used slam.
You will, however, note that I gave the game a 10/10, so you can see these are just suggestions. Your game was awesome!
is there a way to keep playing after you beat the archmage and lord of void?
well all has been said in the other reviews...
I LOVED IT!
Nothing bad I can think of...
Thank you for this amusing game :)
Really very good
Hooked me into playing it for about 5 hours. Cant say much more than that.
Damn fine game, with enough freedom with the abilities to make it feel like it matters what i choose.
awesome but my game froze when my summoned void demon used lightning bolt
