Of course the game is great, but
I can’t pass the penultimate level because I have a weak laptop.
Nostalgia and good, the OST is good as well
Nostalgic and still as perfect as I remember it being.
This is definitely a direct upgrade from the previous game.
The combat/gameplay is much more manageable & satisfying and doesn't feel like you need to be on hardcore drugs to be able to react and tell what's happening.
The in-between mission tutorial-like screens are actually really helpful and explain the combat mechanics/combos quite clearly. Crates don't just drop on top of the player much, at least within my playthrough and the achievements are very fun and not grind-y. The character editor is great as well. The game also has a bunch of fun references like dad n' me, salad fingers, etc.
I can't complain about ANY campaign level in the game, they're all fairly unique and very fun.
The art style is great and the soundtrack is surprisingly amazing. The game even has a primitive yet quite functional level editor. Alternative game modes are great as well, especially Deathmatch with how customizable it is.
This. is. amazing.
I completed it, again.
