The Final Dare

Oh, hello. This is my first submission for 2008 and I have to say, I'm pretty glad I managed to finish this. It's not that it took ages to make - it didn't - it's just that I kept on postponing it for such a long time and finally, I finished it off. Sorry for the massive filesize. At least it's not as big as it would be if I used Megadeth's 'Hangar 18' for the introduction.
This game is a finale to my series 'Dared'. I advise that you play the other Dared games, first.

I hope you enjoy this game. If there are any glitches (which I hope not because I spent an hour trying to fix them all) tell me in your review what they are. Leave a review and vote, please. I'll respond most reviews, if not all.

Play, and find out the important truth behind life.

not sure what i need to do

this point and click game seems to go in some strange direction im not sure what im ment to be doing or how im going to do it (possibly find to find out the "truth")

im playing this without plaing the first two and it really should have an intro about the previus stories
The controls are strange as well u click an arrow and it takes you to some strange room and you have no idea which way u came and which way your going so you have to use trial and error when moving around
the "animatons" (which ive seen) are just stills which is pritty dissapointing as a few movement animations would have made this game alot better

still this game has ponental and its deserves the underdog of the week medal

Thanks for the review. It marks out my flaws with this game which I am grateful for so anytime in the future, if I choose to edit parts of this, I'll work on the flaws. Thanks for your support and all.

Hope its not your final peice.

Pretty simple click and go game with only 1 real outcome.
Not to many choices to make, which just leads directly to the end of the game without really relapsing on the information you've given out in your other flash's

Mechabloby responds:

Don't be so close minded. You can link them all together. Think of this being the truth and the other two: complete lies.

VERY short

just when i started to get into the game the credits started rolling by. 0.o. too bad ,this could have been better if you made it longer.

Mechabloby responds:

Yeah, I thought so too. Let's see what the future brings for us. :)

I'm sorry to say.....

...but I had no idea what was happening. The only reason I found out about the whole "The Truth is Hidden/The Government is lying to us/We Live in a World of Deception/Ignorence is bliss" thing was from reading the reviews and your comments . Don't get me wrong, the fact you're aiming for something very deep and meaningful is comendable, it just flew over my head completely.

Anyway, the atmoshere was intense and the whole thing was just unnerving.
Good job. Please make more, and if you do, please make it at least a little bit more understandable for us dim bulbs.

Mechabloby responds:

Ah, that's not a problem. I do hope to make another game like this which might fire off its own series, but if I was to, I don't know when I'd start work on it - I have so many other projects I want to do right now.... I guess you could say I prefer animating right now but, i really would like to create another unnerving piece like this.

Thanks for your review.

Heck, it was nice, brilliant on the quality of its graphics, and I liked how the whole storyline went.
I never saw any glitches, so the game is fine.
Vote of 4.
