i loved it, so customizable! i dont usually like these strategy "i hit you, you hit me" kind of games, but this one was really fun. i really like being able to choose the character type and the abilities and the attributes. the only thing that i'd want more is to customize the look of the character and maybe for the screen to be a bit more zoomed in, but it was a wonderful game altogther. make more!
This game was excellent! It must have taken a long time to create, and it sure did pay off! But the cutscenes' voices and text were very out of sync, and no amount of graphical tune-down fixed this. This, however, did not take away from it's greatness; at least, not greatly, but it would be nice to fix this minor bug. I haven't finished this yet, but i plan to soon. I hope you will make more of these (with or without ArmorGames-- i'm not sure if you pair up with these), as they kick ass!
Explaining the ELEMENTS
Elements are important to this game but you have to do some investigating to find out what color they are because the game doesn't tell you.
When a unit does damage, the number that appears for the amount of damage has a color that tells you what element it is.
Light blue: ice
Brown or dull colored: earth
So if you are fighting a tough enemy, look at the numbers of damage he deals to see what element they are, and get armor to give you defense against that. For example, Galiant the Paladin does lightning, fire, and physical damage.
By the way, this information should be in a tutorial that tells you what color each element is.
I had fun with this for a while
I got to the Barron and it just got borring. Like all i could do is defend my two guys while the paladin did stuff since my damage was usually insignificant. And then even he died. I didn't play enough to use all the different classes but i got the jist of the game.
Suggestion: When the combat medic uses re-energize, he should be a little smarter about it, especially in "tactical" mode. At one point he was at about 75% health, and only like 40 mana/focus. I was almost full health with 80 focus. Yet he gave me re-energize for some reason.
You are right about the AI I will have to fix that.
In the Baron fight you ARE supposed to play as the healer / Defense :D
This game is quite addictive, I found myself playing for hours. Keep up the good work!
