Move the mouse further away from the dial on the safe part

This is my first attempt at an escape em up/adventure type game, I had quite a tight deadline and it took around 3 weeks from start to finish to create the game, the graphics, the sound fx and music (with a lot of late nights and a weekender) and it was inspired by the movie "The Thing"

I used SwishMAX to code the game in, Cinema 4D and Photoshop for the graphics, FL Studio and Audacity for the music/sound fx!!

I wanted to create a small scifi/horror point n click type game as something different from my shootemups and hopefully learn some new coding stuff along the way (as I'm primarily an artist) anyway I did learn a lot and hope to create a sequel soon so your input is much appreciated!!

I might write a walkthrough if it seems like one is required but I doubt it will be ;-)

good, just good

so as much as id love to give this game a full 5 stars, i cant.

1. restarting every time you die
i understand this isnt a long game, but when youre thrown into a game, with a time limit, and given little instruction on how things work, it gets very annoying having to start from the beginning all the time.

2. the timer lengths
the only puzzles that had the timers were the last 3 in the game. the pressure pipes, the fuses, and the safe. all 3 of these were just straight up annoying and infuriating. it took me several attempts to complete the pipes because the timer was so short it kept telling me i had failed when i completed it just in time. i didnt finish the fuses because i didnt have them all but same thing, not enough time to really do the puzzle. now the safe is why i had to stop playing. that "puzzle" was aggravating at its finest. 5 seconds to get a very specific number on a very not specific dial. 5 seconds seems like plenty enough time, till its not. the timers have no mercy on if you got it just in time.

3. story??
i didnt really get much of a story from this game at all. now i wasnt able to complete it, but even then i should understand more than what the game gave.

this game is a "wave the mouse and pray" game. not my style, but i can appreciate the time and effort it took to create it.

You die once and have to completely restart over. I got through everything but when I got the power on and looked at the book, it disappeared from my inventory. so I couldnt read the username/pw a 2nd time. not going to bother going through all of that again

Lol lots of people complaining about the safe puzzle and pressure box even though they are both the last puzzles in the game. What a bunch of crybabies

These graphics are my favorite kind: very realistic but not actual picture of places. I didn't play it through all the way, but I've played a bunch of similar style games, and when the graphics are lame my brain gets lame. It looks cool and will definitely give me that extra push when things get crazily difficult.
