It's not that lagers all taste like piss, it's that the ones that don't I have to import from czech republic. Most bars and pubs will have no other lagers on tap other than a selection of Fosters, 1664, Carlsberg, Stella Artois, and Carling. 1664's acceptable and Carlsberg's alright if you've had a few already, but the rest are all piss. If I'm lucky they'll have Amstell or Budvar or Staropramen on tap but those places are few and far between.

And also ale's generally around 50p cheaper than lager.

In that case drink strong beers!

Fosters > Carlsberg any day. And Budweiser is still delicious here in America. No matter how many angry faces and 1 liners casualty posts saying how bad all the beer I enjoy is, I still love it.

Ended up playing 'wizard's sleeve' with a bunch of mates after results. For those of you who don't know it, you drink your own height in cans of beer, stick the cans together with whatever's available (we used cellotape) to make an improvised wizards staff. Much more fun than it sounds.
