Is it cool to be gay on NG?

First of, i would like to point out that there are some official homosexuals on NG, like it or not, there are. Some are still in the closet, so we don´t know their identities, while others are just full out, shout it about gay - so, no offence to any of them.

So, in nearlly every thread in genral there is some gay reference/joke about sucking cocks or homo sex, or something of the sort. Why do we think that acting gay is funny/cool? I mean, later in real life alot of people are homophobes, or see a gay couple and feel it´s wrong, then they´re here on NG talking about sucking cocks!

Since when has it been cool to be gay on NG? Since Tankmen and the cock jokes? I dunno, but people still feel they´re cool for blurting out some gay comment. This is general.

Because a lot of people just think it's funny, for example, if someone makes a gay joke, some people just find it to be funny, and for the people who think it's not funny, they laugh anyway so they won't feel left out.

It's just a large amount of immaturity, ignorance, and the want for attention. What's the easiest way, without effort of getting someone to quote you? Calling them gay, the response will either be positive or negative if they get a response at all. (Depending on their nature.)

I don't like to think of it as a "gay is cool" thing, I don't like the people like the stereotypical ones you see going around in stupid clothes and making comments about being gay, those people I absolutely hate.
Being gay is more of a love and emotional side, the good ones don't go around saying to everywhere, they keep it in. It is like strait people, you don't get strait people going around shouting about being strait and having sex with the opposite sex, they stay quiet about it, like normal people should. That is the same with gay people. They don't go around saying it as it is a fad or anything. Or at least I hope they don't. Though I know of some who are not gay who act like it for attention.
