In reply to Arutheria99 I think your right about Cyberen being crap although sometimes it can be funny, but Princess-Laucherella had submitted a Goatse one. This one I flagged it contains a man jacking off.

Now this seems to be real and it does seem against the rules maybe. I watched many of the Cyberen series all the same basically. Tom Fulp did make a news post love to know what he will call his son. Yes that author seems to be stealing games off loads of sites this was from ArcadeBomb well know website.

Archer I'm a good shot!

Anything short of Pico is a failure to the Newgrounds Community, nay, the world.

Of course, something normal would do. But Pico would be so much better.

Some people just need to be burnt at the stake.

P.S:
Tom's new baby boy is a great joy to Newgrounds. With any luck, he will find the same appeal to Newgrounds as his father, and carry us on to great things.

I'd go for Arthur Harold or something so that his initials would be A.H. Fulp, but Pico is a good idea too. But if this kid is anything like Tom, it won't matter, because 13 years from now he'll be making violent Flash and running the next big website (which he will, on his father's retirement, merge with Newgrounds, fusing the best of the old with the 'next big thing' to create something truly awesome), no matter what his name.

But if he turns out like Uncle Wade, spammers beware! They'll have to worry about a man whose wife they keep insulting, AND an angry child with admin powers! Of course, the real question is, what if he turns out a spammer/rule-breaker himself? Fulp powers, combined with Zeebmork-like intent... *shivers* Scares me just thinking about it.

What happens if Toms kid grows up with no intrest in Newgrounds or making websites? That would be a real twist wouldn't it? I don't think he should call it any form of Junior, personally I think {Name} Jr sounds stupid but I guess it's an American thing right?

Response to The Elite Guard Barracks 2009-03-29 09:56:12

Made my way back after my damn internet here at the house went down for a couple of days due to a really bad storm that hit. But how have things and everybody been?

It would be like Arnold Schwarzenegger having a son that hates exercise and grows up fat.
Arnold would have a heart attack.

But Tommy Jr. will have Wade and the bunch to raise his interest, and he'll know it's the profession that helps them live. Aside from the fact all that money will let them send the kid to learn whatever he wants.
Personally, I'm a big fan of being a photographer for Sports Illustrated.

Yeah he could growing up around the site and such. But im sure once he got of age then he would get all the great things that you mentioned.

Maybe he won't, maybe he won't even like NG. And if he likes it, he doesn't have to be an Admin. Maybe he'll be too immature and Tom will decide not to give him the site or any super admin power at all :D

True. How many sports stars have parents that were great? And how many great sports stars have kids?

I wouldn't give my kid admin powers here. I don't even think April has admin powers. I'm sure that an account will be made for him, but just a usual, normal account.

Yeah, but the kid's still got Daddy's and Uncle Wade's ears. He could ask them to, as a birthday present, oh, I don't know, delete all members of a club that rejected him, or de-mod some longtime moderator, or create a Tom Jr. Day for massive spam (just like Clock Day, but without the history)... And it might just happen. And once he grows up, he just might be interested enough to take over the business... Or he might not. He might also turn out hating Newgrounds, as a competitor for his father's attention.

But it's a bit early to be considering that now, I guess. I mean, he's only a baby now, won't even be able to read for maybe 6, 7 years (maybe earlier though), and won't be able to understand half the posts here for 12 or 13, if only because of the subject matter.

I was going to say something about that also... kids usually learn how to read before they ever go to school, but even if they haven't they end up learning how to read in kindergarten and first grade. I'm pretty sure they aren't that old when they start learning how to read and everything. :P

No way in hell he will get admin powers. Thats a powerful position.
Of course there is the distant future, well you know, 16 years. Tom may teach him a few things on HTML, programming and stuff like that.

No way he is getting any sort of power till he is at least a teen though. I have the feeling Tom's kid won't even be interested in the website for a long time.

No, sorry. You have to be a Private and have at least 2,500 blam/protect points, you have some time until you will get there. For now you can ask to join the Newgrounds Police Dept. which has basicly the same goals as The EGB.

Trust me, Tom would never do that. I hope he loves his kid, and I hope that Wade loves Jr. too, but the backlash and anger that would come from deleting members for fun or de-mod a longtime and respected mod would destroy the site. People wouldn't bother making a new account if they got deleted, or people not not want to be here if they know that a certain mod isn't going to be there to joke around with.

If I was Tom, I wouldn't want to expose my kid to the shit that comes through here. I mean, I'm sure the kid will get on here eventually, but not until he's at least 13 or 14 and slightly more mature. I'm sure that whatever Tom does with his son won't hurt Newgrounds or it's community ior the kid's mental state.

Yeah, Tom is a good person, he'd never do such an unfair thing (deleting accounts or making shit just because his boy wants to... For no reason at all!) He wouldn't delete accounts just because of that, that's just stupid, as de-modding mods just because they are hard. Look for example at how many people complained about EyeLovePoozy. Nothing was done (because the complaints were stupid), and if Jr. wanted to do something like that he wouldn't do it.

But it's a bit early to be considering that now, I guess. I mean, he's only a baby now, won't even be able to read for maybe 6, 7 years (maybe earlier though), and won't be able to understand half the posts here for 12 or 13, if only because of the subject matter.

I think he'll grow up like any normal kid. Of course he'll know about NG, but he'll be too young to visit a place like this. He may start coming here once he's mature enough.

Sorry, but I'm afraid that in order to join you need to have at least a Private rank (2,500 B/P points) and a Bronze whistle. However, once you reach the rank of Security Guard (400 B/P) then you can join the Newgrounds Police Department if you so wish, and if you still want to join the Barracks once you meet our minimum requirements then we'll take your application into consideration.
