It was strange.
Mostly hearing voice differences. It was the sixth episode with Mohji the Lion Tamer.
In the original, he sounded very deep. Here he sounds like Freeza from Dragonball.
Then there's Boodle/Budor the Mayor. In the original he sounds like a wise old man. But in the dub he sounds like a clown.

He didnt sound like freeza. freezas voice was deeper than that! Mohji sound's like a wannabe black guy, with a high pitched voice, and without the cool slang, and without the cool attitude.
I found that there were more kinda immature kids cartoon voices in the dub
Speaking of the dub. Al Kahn made another stupid statement saying that U.S. kids don't read and that America is not a reading nation.
This was in a panel discussion about if anime makes a manga popular. Then Kahn had to be an douchebag and say this.

It's actually Zoro. I know about the whole L and R thing but Oda has written multiple times in English that it's Zoro.

But I know that the Japanese need special training to even pronounce an L sound. They can't even say Luffy right (They call him Ruffy).

Actually... That's his real name... Yeah he was created in Japan... So his name could be kjdfvsj instead of Luffy in Japan, and it would be right. Anyways... Have you ever played that One Piece game where you fight people... and stuff... I played the demo.

I like One Piece. My favourite charecter is Sanji because he likes to kick and I like kicking.

Wow, I just sort of gave up on the crew since some guy was being an asshole on the whole Zoro and Zolo issue.
There won't be any new episodes on Toonami for a while since it's the month of Miyazaki. A whole month of Hayao Miyazaki movies on Toonami. But if you are demented enough to like the dub, it's on twice a day Mondays through Thrusdays and once on Fridays.
