Drawing Tablet 6 - TheWitchBoi
Today’s tablet recipient is @TheWitchBoi, who hasn’t been able to post anything recently because his tablet died completely.
TheWitchBoi hopes to make some content around his OC character Vin, The Witch. He also wants to create mixed media works to share here!
2023 Highlight - Art Inspired Music Contest
The Art Inspired Music Contest is an event where musicians create songs inspired by art on the site. It started in 2013 and while threads from the original years are since gone, the AIM 2013 entries have all been properly tagged, if you’re curious to explore some history. Still working on AIM 2014, which was also before people started properly tagging their entries. Update: 2014 is done too.
For the past five years, AIM has been organized by @Random-storykeeper. This year's AIM had 81 entries, with three winners and a big list of runner-ups.
@Everratic took first place with Bellowers of Grief, inspired by the art of @themefinland.
Everratic would later make it to the Final Round of the NG Underdogs’ Audio Contest, with a series of three songs in the competition.
Just today Everratic shared a song for the holiday season!
Themefinland meanwhile has continued sharing exceptional art.
Second place in AIM went to @JazzDew, inspired by the art of @Seath-Lorkencrain.
JazzDew shared some powerful music this year, including a series inspired by Dante’s Inferno and songs from the Synthetic Mass album.
JazzDew also participated in a lot of audio collabs this year.
Just today JazzDew shared Apocalypse!
Seath-Lorkencrain meanwhile continues creating all sorts of terrifying 3D creatures. I’d love to see his work in a movie one of these days!
The third place winner of AIM was @LordAndiso, inspired by the art of @Grizzace.
LordAndiso went on to win second place in the NG Underdogs’ Audio Contest, with a series of three songs.
LordAndiso also made it to the NG Audio Deathmatch Quarterfinals.
Just a few days ago LordAndiso shared PlayGirl!
Grizzace meanwhile keeps making cool art with their signature style.
The Art Inspired Music Contest had a fan favorite prize, awarded to @PredatorMusic, inspired by the art of @Bagplants.
PredatorMusic was also a runner-up with another piece, inspired by the art of @Flooko.
PredatorMusic has been on a streak this year, with all 21 songs getting featured. Here are some more faves!
PredatorMusic also took fourth place in the Halloween Spooktacular music category with Demonic Dash and celebrated Pixel Day with Slimebit.
Bagplants meanwhile kept the playful art flowing!
Flooko has as well, with their series of paintings featuring a lone astronaut.

Random-storykeeper also maintains a collection of previous years!
This year we introduced the ability to add playlists to playlists, as well as the ability to create a parent / child relationship between two playlists, making lists like the one above possible for anyone to create and manage.
The $100 in prizes for AIM this year came entirely from the Pico-Cross Collab’s Pico Day prize money. Thank you to the Pico-Cross team!
