You certainly do support a shite party that are fearful of pissing off Trump. They haven't grown any balls, they just retracted, which just invites worse.

And the people of Wyoming just voted in Harriet Hageman, who certainly has no balls, as she ran on cultural issues, and kowtowing to Trump. They didn't vote with their brains, or for courage, they voted with their emotions, for someone who took advantage of it. That don't make for good politicians.

Yeah, she's not her father, and most Republicans are war mongers since Reagan - that hasn't change much, as they have continually increased defense spending under Republican Presidents (including under Trump who more than encouraged it), while trying to convince people they won't start anymore more wars...

And Hageman used to be close friends with Cheney, and anti-Trump, with a similar family background in politics to Cheney. So you tell me with your over-generalization on why people voted for her. It certainly isn't for any pragmatic policies (policies not based on just culture), or courage.

Florida has become the circus state of theocracy in the US. It's like watching a really terrible clown act with cringe worthy clowns, who don't bring joy and laughter to the the audience, but a deep stomach dread. The stars of it are it's Governor, Ron DeSantis, and his GOP allies who control the state's legislature, who are trying to reshape the state into a conservative theocracy. Their efforts centers on controlling what schools can teach and say, and what businesses can and can't do, in an effort to cancel out anything that may be offensive to Conservatives, while at the same time trying to portray themselves as victims of the woke left.

It got so bad, that a judge had to step in and put a stop to the attacks on free speech by the Florida govermnet.

Judge blocks DeSantis’s ‘Stop WOKE Act,’ says Florida feels like a ‘First Amendment upside down

A federal judge on Thursday blocked a Florida law restricting how workplaces and schools can discuss race during required training or instruction championed by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R).

U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida Chief Judge Mark Walker issued a preliminary injunction blocking the law, known as the “Stop WOKE Act,” saying it violates free speech protections under the First Amendment and that it violates the Fourteenth Amendment’s Due Process Clause for being impermissibly vague.
“Recently, Florida has seemed like a First Amendment upside down,” Walker wrote in the ruling, comparing the law to the fictional “upside down” in the Netflix series “Stranger Things.”

“Normally, the First Amendment bars the state from burdening speech, while private actors may burden speech freely,” the Obama-appointed judge continued. “But in Florida, the First Amendment apparently bars private actors from burdening speech, while the state may burden speech freely.”

And DeSantis keeps brushing with groups and people who either promote, or outright ignore, racist behavior, with the latest being his support of a GOP candidate for governor in Pennsylvania, who has strong ties to the right-wing social media platform Gab that is a bastion of racial hate and antisemitism.

It's funny how you have the right throwing TDS (Trump derangement syndrome) at people on the for bringing up criticism about Trump, while they constantly defend him as he continues to play a huge part in the GOP by making it more crazy. It's the GOP, and the right, who are unable to let him go.

In other news of the day, conspiracy, and plain stupidity, promoting, for money, Alex Jones, has now switched to the other dark side by ditching Trump for White House aspiring theocratic Ron DeSantis.

Meanwhile, Senate minority leader, and devil turtle, Mitch McConnell is losing hope that he will regain control back of the Senate given Trump's backing of the worse of the worse Republican Senate candidates.

on an ironic note, the capitalist party, or the GOP, are wondering where millions of their campaign funds went, after years of directing much of it to their rising administration costs, and hiring people like this.

Well, considering that many leaders/politicians of the GOP are heavily abusing it to call Biden, and Democrats, Nazis in one form or another, I don't think it will hurt Biden that much by saying that many in Trump's GOP are semi-fascists in their support of cultural authoritarianism and anti-democracy.

Fox News, or the Conservative Republican channel, wrote the following article.

Trump keeps hauling in big bucks, but shares little of his fundraising fruits with fellow Republicans

What appears to irk many Republicans is that Trump is sucking up grassroots contributions from small dollar donors and sharing only a fraction of the wealth with party committees or outside super PACs backing the various GOP candidates. They argued that the lack of financial support from Trump’s massive war chest, along with the former president’s legal controversies and his constant re-litigating of his 2020 election loss instead of focusing on the nation’s economic ills, will hurt the party’s chances at the ballot box this autumn.

Tim Miller, a longtime Republican strategist and veteran of the Republican National Committee and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush’s 2016 presidential campaign who’s grabbed plenty of attention the past six years with his verbal shots fired at Trump, wrote this week in the Bulwark that "it’s no longer a question of whether Trump will cost Republicans seats in November, but how many he will lose the party thanks to his hoarding and meddling."

Florida is so fucked up under Republican control... I feel for the next generation that is being brainwashed by them in schools.

DeSantis says teaching requirements are 'too rigid' as Florida moves to let veterans without degrees teach

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said teaching requirements have been "too rigid" for educators.

Florida is issuing temporary teaching certificates to allow military veterans to teach in schools.

The policy has garnered criticism from educators who said that it could impact teaching quality.

Florida middle school assignment on ‘stolen’ 2020 election, media bias goes viral

And voting... Cases against arrested voters on shaky legal ground. Florida issued them voter IDs

Two weeks after Gov. Ron DeSantis and the state’s top election officials stood in a Broward County courtroom and announced the arrest of 20 people for voting illegally, the state’s case is starting to fall apart.

The announcement was the first initiative of the governor’s Office of Election Crimes and Security, and it targeted people disqualified from voting because they’ve been convicted of murder or sexual assault. “They’re going to pay the price for it,’’ the governor promised.

But in the face of a stream of conflicting messages coming from the governor and state elections officials and the prospect of no immediate fix to the state’s confusing system for felons to regain their voting rights, advocates are urging those arrested to fight the charges. The Senate sponsor of the legislation that implemented the felons voting law has concluded “now a million dollar operation” of the Office of Elections Crimes and Security may ultimately produce no convictions.

“The more that comes out on the arrests, the more I believe the individuals involved had no knowledge or intent to violate the law,’’ wrote Sen. Jeff Brandes, the Republican from St. Petersburg and Senate sponsor of the law that implemented the felons voting law, in a post on Twitter.

Oh good, conservative cancel culture on steroids:

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis says Republicans are approaching big business all wrong: 'Corporatism is not the same as free enterprise'

"Corporatism is not the same as free enterprise, and I think too many Republicans have viewed limited government to basically mean whatever is best for corporate America is how we want to do the economy," DeSantis said during his keynote speech before a crowd of friendly attendees at the JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort.

"And my view is — obviously free enterprise is the best economic system — but that is a means to an end. It's a means to having a good fulfilling life and a prosperous society. It's not an end in and of itself."

DeSantis has taken numerous actions against what he refers to as "woke corporations." Most recently, he pushed the State Board of Administration to ban the consideration of "social, political, or ideological interests" — such as ESG — when it decides what investments to make for the state's pension fund.

The governor also revoked Disney World's self-governing status after the company pleaded with the governor to oppose the Parental Rights in Education Act. The bill limits discussions about gender identity and sexual orientation in a way critics say is too vague and will harm LGBTQ students, parents, and teachers. Critics have dubbed the law the "Don't Say Gay" bill.

It's just a lot of conservative rhetoric that doesn't improve workers, or consumer, lives, but argues that government should cut down on freedom of speech, and what companies can do, over the welfare of minority groups, to defend the dominate culture and elites in it, while riding on the idea that they are for freedom and are anti-elitism.

While being applauded by a billionaire conservative mega-donor:

Billionaire investor and Trump megadonor Peter Thiel praises Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis as 'the best of the governors' for offering 'a real alternative to California'
