Hey guys, what's up?
I'd like to join this collab. It'll be a while though before I can make my part since I have to finish my Pico Day project first ;)

kudos. i love a great deal of that art.
and with that, might I present MY update. It contains the first scene I put up, with some improvements to it, then the beginning of another.
The 2 previews I've seen so far for this are amazing. It makes me intimidated to try :P .
I haven't flashed in like 4 months basically, so i think it would be kinda hard to start again with something this challenging, but i guess if i get bored ill give it a shot.
I forgot to ask about music, sorry for x2 post. But whats the deal with music( i might have missed the rant on music :D ). also if I'm allowed in I started a draft for my part :P

We kinda discussed it. I pitched a band called Jaga Jazzist. Chill, but fast paced at times. It's neat. Check it out. But other than that, not really.
if i do finish a part , it'll look roughly like this
hallway in perspective. to opening door. to view of city. to close on city. to city movement. to erase effect.. it wouldn't be more than 6 seconds probably.
possible draft

Firstly, I think we should put that poem in the beginning of the flash. that would require a little help from volit0. We'd need the text, the author, and perhaps a translation.
Secondly, I really dig that video. I think I may try that. With some padding, that could be truly awesome. Being green is rad.

It doesn't look like a poem. More like an article about homeless people in america and great britain
hi is there any way that i can still join or is it all filled up
SHEEPS DONT GO "moo"
Hey guys, about that poem I found one called Cardboard City Poem: http://www.adriennewolter.com/stories/po etry-cardboardcity.htm
Cardboard City
Sometimes, when I'm this tired
I let my mind wander to the most absurd thoughts
Like what it would be like
Living in a city made of cardboard.
It would suck when it rains.
But I'm sure someone would go ahead and invent
A new kind of cardboard
That's water-resistant.
And maybe it'll do your laundry while it's at it.
It's just that cool.
Unlike me, thinking about living
In a city made of cardboard.
I need some sleep.
By Adrienne Wolter
Sorry for double post
I found more the last one sucked. It's about the Cardboard city in London
Cardboard City.
In back streets dark, cold and wet
Forgotten figures in corners slept
Ragged figures of human debris
Regrets and rats for company
Cardboard city land of the lost
Afraid of the living, in fear of the frost
Surviving on wits a day at a time
Circumstance their only crime
If fate decreed that they should die
In passing without a single cry
Alone for company only fear
Who alone would shed a tear?
There by fate, and not by choice
Souls in torment, with common voice
Drunks and addicts, so absurd
Vanish daily, their pleas unheard
So spare a thought as you sit to dine
Gulp your beer, or sip your wine
Things taken for granted, as we often do
But for the grace of God, it could be you.

Shall we add our names in a special corner or do someone of you want to add them afterwards, nick/moro?
I've got an idea brewing for a part, finally.
Just the start of a part though. I need to think of a good middle, and rounding it off at the end
GAH!

I think you can just leave your names off your parts, then Morrow or me will add the names at the end, so everyone has the same kind of text for their name. I think it makes the collab look neater and more sophisticated that way.

Perhaps is with give you a font or some art to display our names, than you just standardize the positioning and presentation. That's how I've seen it done best.
Also, check out the song Airborne on Jaga Jazzist's myspace. That's my pitch for music. But I'd love to hear if anyone else has any ideas for it.
Yas, I'll join this:)
i started my part yesterday:) i really like this kinda style now that i've started animating it!
could someone PM me and tell me if sounds are allowed?
thnx <3
Looks nice, i'm not too fond of the GIANT RED CIRCLE :P but if you change it to a more traditional cardboard it would be more fitting.
