I believe Krin should be a nominee.
He made sinjid battle arena and shadow of the warrior. When he made them, they were complete news, now it's no longer so much of a deed... but he's still working on new games. He is my favourite flash artist (second comes Tom with Pico's school and the rest). By the way, why not Tom as another nominee? To see if people would support him.

Not really. Not everything on newgrounds is funny. There's a lot of very political animations on this site as well as comedic ones.

Maybe there should be another category for games. (and possibly movies)

There have been games where you have to think outside the box on numerous occasions (such as The Impossible Quiz 2, or Prawn to Be Wild Chapter 1) and usually it takes a couple...hours to beat the said game.

Anyway, I'm torn, I have a couple suggestions for Movie of the Year, these being:

Mastermind, (Swain)
Waterlollies, (Chulaid)
Metropolis Circuit, (rtil)

I believe that only movies from this year count.
I've seen people nominate movies from past years in here.

My Name ideas:

"Tankenburger"

"Tankenheim"

"Newgrounds Tank Award"

"Fulp Award"

"Tank-o-Rama"

and finally, my favorite:

"Tanka-lanka-ding-dong"

Personally I think naming it after it after a real tank would subtract from it's "Newgroundsness". The NG tank is just too badass in itself, there is none like it.

This was a beautiful, traditionally animated short by Munglai with a touching story. It's less mainstream than waterlollies and deserves some recognition.
