I would like to nominate LeekClock (http://leekclock.newgrounds.com) for the Leadership Award category. Although his leadership contributions to Newgrounds have not been as noticeable, the contributions he has made to the Clock Crew have been numerous. LeekClock has been the glue that is holding the Clock Crew together for several years now. Aside from developing and coding features for the official Clock Crew website, Leek is partially responsible for the creation and judging of Flash competitions that help increase quality Flash Movie traffic here on Newgrounds.
LeekClock also plays a lead role in keeping the Clock Crew as a group satisfied and productive. While this does not directly affect the greater Newgrounds population, there is still a significant base of Newgrounds users who ARE motivated and touched by LeekClock, be it through his artwork, his teaching (Flash tutorials, music tutorials, etc.) or simply his respectful yet firm forum administration tactics.
For those who wish to argue with me, perhaps it is time to come to terms with the fact that the Clock Crew is the single most important Flash group on Newgrounds. Without the Clock Crew, Newgrounds would be a totally different place. There would likely be no Lock Legion, Star Syndicate, Kirby Krew etc. Every August 15th would be just an ordinary day at the Portal, and there would be significantly fewer exciting events to reach the portal (for instance Bill Murray Week or duck.fla Day) Many users here still have the erroneous belief that the Clock Crew is a group based solely around spam and annoying users, but this is no longer true. Through the years the Crew has evolved into a very skilled art community and continues to stray further from its spam-based roots as members become more concerned with progressing their own artistic ability as opposed to trolling a userbase of their peers.
