Ha, I'm planning to book the 3 days off work. Day before, Clock Day, day after. That way if everything goes right I can make sure I'm up before it goes NG midnight and stay on for the whole 24 hours and get every point I can. I know, that's so fucking sad =(

Fuck that, Clock Day is the one NG date when no one should feel guilty for saving the shit that gets through, that's what it's basically all about now. Though I imagine if I see the usual bad spam offenders, I'll blam just because I'm sure they'll get themselves deleted again afterwards.

I don't feel guilty at all i just don't want to make my b/p ratio higher than it already is. I've worked oh lowering it and have gotten it down alot otherwise i would save like theres no tomorrow. the only thing i'm guilty of is that i don't look at half the things i vote on during clock day because almost everything passes and do you expect me to watch over 1,000 submission in 12 hours??? Yes, it has been adressed a few times in the NGLog thread. It seems as if the whole denvish.net site is infected, so there's nothing Casualty can do about it.
Right now I'm using a virtual machine that runs with a linux distribution to acess NGLog. Propably not the best solution, but this way I can fully avoid any viruses.

on topic: Right now I have about 4,000 blams to catch up before I can enter the list. Seeing as the requirements go up nearly every time the list is updated, I propably can only enter this list if I manage to get my blams up to 15,000 or higher.

I usually don't get to log my stats to later in the day so i don't care at all as long as i get there sometime during the day. Thats a good day for it so i can start voting at 12:00 midnight, the last few years they really come in around that time. I may stay up to around 2:00 or untill i fall asleep. I do need my break and maby go get some sun or go to the mall. I can't just sit down all day and do the same thing about 800 times.

Yeah, I remember when I was starting to get antsy when I was around the top 100, back in the days before the ranks 101-150 were recognised, thinking how a few extra weeks of B/Ping at the start of my NG account would have made all the difference of maybe 100-150 Blams, which I could have used to get a shove up the rankings.

Well, this system is foolproof for me - no-one else has access to the stats on my sheet, so I can keep an accurate record of my stats from there.

I did, but I started to regret it a little later in the day, when I'd been doing it for about 15 hours. I'll get my sleep like normal, but will be making every effort possible, maybe while doing other things to keep my muscles moving, such as lifting weights.

Exactly. It doesn't make much of a difference whether I keep the laptop on charge all the time or only charge it when it's low on battery. The latter requires unnecessary effort, so I'm good with the former.

One thing I've started doing, though, is plugging in all our cell phone chargers and Nintendo DS chargers into ONE power strip... which we only plug in when we need to charge things (and usually charge multiple things together). When they're all charged, unplug the whole thing at once. Boom. Easy, and saving $$$$.

I was somewhat surprised to hear about that in the first place. I thought you only used electricity when you completed a circuit... if the damned phone isn't plugged into the charger, how is a circuit complete? Bah. Maybe the cord itself counts as a circuit because it converts AC to DC or something... LAME. ;_;

Well, it's made by a pharaceutical company - it's basically fizzy glucose, that helps people get their energy levels up quicker. I was on some after some particularly hard work. I think it was cycling to work and cricket training all together.

Yes, it makes sense - 10,754 is the cut-off for the top 200 Blammers at present. Tjis is due to the users that I am tracking with 10,000+ Blams, but if any others crop up, it makes for quite a list.

Yeah, the next major jump up the rankings for you is around 20k Blams, which isn't all that far away now, numerically, but it could take you about a year to get there, which is a shame.

You can only get blam and protection points from flashes that are still under judgement. You can find them in the left colum when you go to the Flash Portal, they have a purple background.
If you vote 0-1 and the flash get's blammed you get a blam point
If you vote 2-5 and the flash is protected, you get a save point.

Also, look at the picture, it explains everything. ;)

Not much movement between the three posts this month, but some substantial jostling around the 101-105 mark is cerainly putting up some speculation for next month if Omgee wants to remain a part of the proceedings.

Thanks for another good update Coop.

I did suprisingly well on this update it seems. I even got more blams than Afro_Stud which is quite amazing. I don´t think that has ever happened in either saves or blams in the last 3 years. For the next update I expect to climb at least two ranks, possibly three. Then only 9 more ranks and I´ll be in top 100 :)

Not wanting to tempt providence, but I think he might actually be slowing down or even getting a life!

I was hoping that more people than just you and I would have been interested in Blams, but alas.

Besides, you're approaching the top 100 at a nice pace and from there, it's only a small matter of achieving 20k, which is an awesome achievement in this day and age :)
