Well, last month was good for me - better than average pace, plus I put myself within a day or two of the top 100. mentalis, KDOG and FIGMENTUM will all fall within pretty short order. Just a question of whom I pass to take the 100th spot. mentalis has shown that he can average almost a blam per day. I'm only 17 behind mentalis as I type, so I'd think that I'm in a good position to apply the pass on him next.

Unless you count scanning for folks for the pentalist or VP list weeks in advance of an update. That was my only real strategy to save myself time and effort when the actual updates came due. #;-}>

75 is a good number because it's 3/4 of the century mark, so even with the 3 in front of it, it's not as "37"y as other numbers containing 37. Kinda like 1337 that way, it's an exception to my aversion.

Probably flicked over it, but I would have been able to take a thoroughly educated guess, since there is no number coffee. 7 is Bahamut's favourite number, so he was always likely to fail the urge to stop at all 7s.

All three achievements on the same day - Level 40 at 0800, Top 100 Blammers at about 1800 and 19,000 Blams a few hours later. Check the LUL for a little piece of creativeness on that subject :)

Blams are hard to get those days.
It is probably getting to take me at least a year before I get to the top 50.

You're probably talking closer to 15 months at your current pace (very similar to mine) With a few users above us who are approaching the top 50, we're both looking at around 26k to get there and a pace of 7,000 per year equates to approximately 19 Blams per day - about 520 per 4-week update.

A more reasonable pace of 15.75 would be required to get the job done in 15 months. I rule with the calculator :P

Also, most NG n00bs/stats whores vote 2 or high before watching the actual submission when they find out that the author has three or more protected entries. They also vote high on spamming entries for the sake of protection points. Those people make me sick.

That's a bit of a hypocritical attitude, coming from you, isn't it? Considering the conversations that you've had with the Elite Guard Barracks over the years, especially when you refer to your 'freedom' from the restrictions of that place...

I'm trying to encourage you to vote 0 on spam submissions, as the more people that do that, the closer we get toward the critical point, when these submissions get blammed through judgement, as they should. Once the spam gets the treatment it deserves, parity can be restored.

Well, you've passed two of the old guard - swive and ZIGZAG4EVER, who both still have more Blams than Saves. ThunderboltLegion is one of those early members of the EG Barracks, who retired soon after reaching Supreme commander.

OHBOYS. After.... oh, 5+ years of not meeting anyone from online (aside from Tom himself, actually), I met a couple peops from ADGBC in December and hung out again with them a couple weeks ago with my gf... but they're just in Austin, TX, 200 miles away from here.

I shant be going 'cross the pond anytime soon, so... yeah, that'll be the way it has to happen. #;-}>

As I believe Bahamut and myself discussed via Steam last month, no matter how the timing goes with you and him and yer levelups, there's gonna be at least one level gap we need a new gang of green member for.
