Asking about Viper might make Winston suspicious of Adam, esepecially if he knows Viper himself. Messeging the Institute could also cause them to think that Adam is incompetant to handle missions, and they might come and kill him or something. Theyr'e crazy people. Only safe thing to do is investigate himself for the time being. Maybe once he has some information or something, he could messege the institute and not seem incompetant.

I've spent hours reading this storl from beginning to end. All I have to say is that it is an awesome story which kept me occupied. It was one of the best stories I've ever read. This could be published! OH yeah, what if everyone didn't vote C at the beginning. lawlersketes.

Adam rapped his knuckles against his forehead a few times. He had to do something. He briefly thought about asking Winston if he knew anything about Viper, but then he reconsidered and realized he didn't need to make Winston suspicious of him, especially if he really did know who Viper was. He considered messaging the militia and telling them what had happened to Natasha, but he realized it was futile. Not only was Adam apparently the only one who had seen Viper, but he knew if he told them there was nothing they could do anyways. They neither knew what he even looked like nor did they have any idea as to where he was. Shoving his ipod and googles into his pants pockets, Adam made his way out of the room. The only thing he could do now was to try and find Big 'N' Salty's room. There had to be some kind of clue inside.

Adam tried a few doors going down the hallway, but found nothing too conspicuous. He about gave up when he opened another large golden door. This had to be Big 'N' Salty's room. It was about twice as big as Adam's room, with twice as many toys. There was a hot tub sitting directly in the middle, an even larger plasma screen on the wall, and a large water bed with sheets hanging down from the frame which hung over it. But most disturbing to Adam was, yet again, a mural on the ceiling. It wasn't a naked child this time, it was a naked Big 'N' Salty. He noticed whoever painted it was rather flattering to the crotchal region.

Disgusted as he was, Adam continued to snoop around the room. He feared that any moment Winston or some security guard or Big 'N' Salty himself would barge in. That was something that still mystified Adam. Where was all the security that the Commander and Vance had promised would be there? With a sinking feeling Adam realized he could be getting filmed right now. There could be a hidden camera somewhere. Adam shook the thought out of his head. If he was caught, he had no doubt in his ability to make up some lame excuse and get out of trouble.

Finally something caught Adam's eye. Big 'N' Salty's laptop laid on a coffee table. And by some stroke of luck, it was logged on. Adam knelt down and looked at the desktop. His background was a bukkake hentai picture. This unnerved Adam slightly. But then again, most men looked at porn. And a lot liked hentai. What made Big 'N' Salty different? Adam looked at the desktop icons. Trash bin, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft word, it was all pretty normal stuff. He went under documents and clicked pictures. More hentai, not surprisingly. With a sick feeling in his gut he realized that nearly every hentai picture involved a child in some way. It made Adam sick.

But finally, something caught his interest. Under the title of "viper.jpg" was the same picture that Viper had framed. Adam inspected it closely. Viper had his arm around Big 'N' Salty. They looked happy, almost triumphant. They had to have been friends at one time. What had changed, and changed so dramatically that Viper wanted his former friend dead? Adam closed pictures and opened documents. He scanned the list. A lot of them seemed to be AIM conversations. And they were all labeled "viperconvo" and numbered. There were around 30 of them. Finally, some answers. Adam clicked the first conversation.

But before he even got a look at the screen, he heard Winston's disapproving voice coming from the doorway. "Sir, I do not believe you are supposed to be in here," he said, eyeing Adam closely. Adam cursed so that Winston couldn't hear and closed all the files he had opened. He had been so close. "What are you doing in the Master's room?" Winston asked.

Adam had to lie, and he had to lie quickly. "Uhhh... Well, I saw the golden door, and I thought it was a bathroom, like the one downstairs." he lied. "When I realized it was Big 'N' Salty's room, I... uhhh... I got on his laptop, because... I figured, he's so rich, he had to have amazing computer games." Horrible, horrible lies. But Winston smiled. He had bought it. "Yes, yes, the Master is very wealthy. But next time, ask before intruding, okay?" Adam smiled, relieved, and nodded. He had narrowly dodged a bullet on that one.

Winston motioned for Adam to follow him. "Come, sir. The Master has prepared dinner for you." Adam followed as Winston led him to the kitchen. There was Big 'N' Salty, in full chef's uniform, beaming proudly at what he had prepared. Only Adam didn't see any food. Then he noticed three tiny doors in the wall, just above the countertop.

Gesturing at the doors, Big 'N' Salty grinned stupidly and said,"Welcome, friend Kyle! It's time to choose! Your meal is behind one of these doors, clues are behind two others. If you get a clue, we get to solve another fun riddle to find where your meal is! Now, it is time to choose, Kyle! Door one, door two, or door three?" Adam was getting tired of these games. But the clown-astronaut-chef-rapper loved them. And he had to play along.
