Adam examined each of the doors separately. They were all painted with different colors and strange symbols. Each were different sizes, though they all looked large enough to hold a dinner plate of some kind. By a highly scientific method of selection (eenie-meenie-minie-mo), Adam chose Door 1.
Adam merely pointed at Door 1, ready for another riddle. Big 'N' Salty looked delighted as he raised the door and handed Adam the piece of paper inside. "Good choice, Friend Kyle!" The chef-rapper exclaimed, grinning stupidly. "You chose the hardest riddle of them all! Now wait here, I'll be back momentarily." And with that, Big 'N' Salty took off running. As soon as he left, Adam opened the two remaining doors. And just as he thought, there were only clues inside. He shut them quickly as he saw Big 'N' Salty returning.
Only now, he was dressed as Sherlocke Holmes. He had the brownish trenchcoat, the pipe, the stupid looking hat, everything. Adam had no doubt he had a costume for every occasion. "Now, my friend, read the riddle aloud, and let's see how smart you are!"
Adam smiled faintly and began reading. It read,
"Lucky Kyle, you've found the hardest riddle of all.
Look to the right for games and fun,
Stare into the abyss (don't want to fall),
And reach deep inside, you'll find you've won."
The whole time Adam read the riddle, Big 'N' Salty just watched with anticipation and a look of pure glee on his face. Adam was tired of playing games. But one look at Big 'N' Salty's face told him if he didn't play, this man-child would probably cry. And he didn't want that. But he also gave Big 'N' Salty no satisfaction by thinking aloud as he mentally examined the riddle.
Adam reread the first line. There was nothing there that seemed important. He did exactly what the second line said. He looked to the right. But he saw no games or fun, only a big, stupid shell of a man blocking his way. He edged past Big 'N' Salty and looked out the window. The first thing he saw was the massive ferris wheel outside. That had to be the games and fun. He exited the house, a smiling Big 'N' Salty following.
He read the next line. Stare into the abyss... He saw no abyss. But the "don't want to fall" caught his eye. Adam could only assume that meant he had to get on the ferris wheel. Big 'N' Salty clapped his hands in excitement as Adam made his way to the ferris wheel. "Very good, friend Kyle, hop on inside the car! I'll take you to the top!"
Adam did just that, and the detective-chef-astronaut-clown-rapper started the machine. Adam soon found himself teetering in the cart on top of the ferris wheel. While Adam still saw no abyss that he could reach into, he realized it was getting dark. The sun was setting, and a cool breeze blew through the night, giving Adam goosebumps. There were no lights activated on the ferris wheel, either. Soon he would be in total blackness. Adam stuck his hand outside the bars of the ferris wheel compartment and began feeling around for anything. The compartment shook with every move he made. And in the slowly decreasing light, it made Adam nervous. Finally, he made contact with a bar on top of the giant machine. And hanging from this bar was... a lunchbox.
Adam began to reach inside, and he pulled out a toy steak. A dog-chew. He couldn't possibly eat it. Just as he pulled the steak-chew inside the compartment, the ferris wheel began moving. Adam was glad at first, but then he watched as he passed the ground and began going up again. Adam shook the cage furiously. He wanted out. Yelling down to Big 'N' Salty, Adam screamed, "Let me off!"
Passing the rapper again, he saw the genuine look of panic on his face. Adam heard Big 'N' Salty yell up to him, "It won't stop! I've tried everything! And it's getting faster!" Adam suddenly got queasy again, and puked violently on the floor of the compartment. The ferris wheel began spinning faster, just as Big 'N' Salty predicted. If they didn't shut it off soon, the wheel could come loose, or the compartments could start flying off. Either way, Adam would be dead. He had to do something. And fast.
Does Adam...
A) Turn his ipod to Toxic, then when it gets close to the control panel, try and short it out
B) Force the compartment door open, jump out when it gets close to the ground
C) Do nothing, wait for Big 'N' Salty to sort it out
D) Force open the door, climb on top of the compartment
C) so Adam will die and Viper will win in the end.
