When you respond to an existing topic, which of the two options do you use the most?
I don't want to hear your life story or why you felt the need to quote some guy who had been bragging about butchering his cat... It's a simple question.

Usually reply to post, but reply & quote if I'm in a discussion in a thread.
which doesn't happen very often le sob
Reply to post when you got something to say. Reply and quote when you got "little" something to say.

Exactly this.
The only time I generally reply with quote to the OP is when I want to focus on one thing in particular that the OP has posted which has caught my attention. Otherwise, this.

Fuck which form of reply people use, if you do one thing in the redesign, make this illegal text.
I tend to use Reply & Quote more often, and use whatever quote I need, and If I decide I don't need to the quote, just erase it.
I honestly don't know. If there is anyone in the world who has the statistics, that would be you ._.
To a specific user, agreeing with someone or answering a question , Reply & Quote. If I'm just posting about the topic, Reply to Post.

This.
Oh, and I also use reply with quote when somone else has already expressed my opinion.

Reply & Quote.
A simple answer with no unnecessary content.
I use "Reply and Quote" if was replying a specific post other than the original one or something worth highlighting about. On the other hand I use "Reply To Post" to respond to the original post on a given topic.
When I think about it, having a "Reply To Post" button on the other replies are pretty useless since people will have no way of knowing who that reply was directed to.
Reply with quote = When I'm replying to somebody specifically.
Reply to post = When I'm replying to the OP.
Typically, unless I'm one of the first to post in a thread, I'll reply with a quote, because typically I make replies to confirm, deny, or make fun of other posts, and then I move onto my opinions of the OP.
"Get buttfucked in the mouth." | "Dammit, let me spread my anger, breed my hate!"
Reply to post almost always the first time, and any following posts are usually quotes to respond to something idiotic.
I used to use reply and quote all the time. I used to just delete the guy's comment if I wanted to reply to the first guy. I've grown out of that now though. Reply & quote when replying to others, Reply to post when answering OP.
this time I used reply to post.
???-2004?=dark ages, 2005?=atomic betty era, 2006=red dwarf era, 2007-2009=newgrounds era, 2009-2014= anime era,
What have I done with my life?

This, and sometimes I'll open a few Reply & Quote tabs for a single post.

Usually Reply & Quote.
Mainly because having the quote there reminds me of the hell the subject is about.

I agree with gagsy. i think reply with OP might be useful, otherwise you can get by without it.
Back in the day when the Flash Reg Lounge was alot more active we made it a rule that you had to use bold tags and RE: topic name for what you are referring to, in an attempt of keeping multiple conversation topics going within the same thread. Using quote was just too sloppy
None
All of my posts contain quoted text.
Including this one.
I reply to post if the post is a response to the original post or is an addition to the topic.
I reply to quote whenever I need to quote things.
I think it's kinda self-explanatory...

Oh, I forgot to add that because I'm not quoting things all the time, I would use reply to post most often.
I use Reply To Post more, unless I'm responding to a certain thing someone said, which I usually don't.
I've never even used the Reply To Post button. I use Reply & Quote or the Post Reply button at the top of the screen.
Unless I'm the first one to post in the topic, I typically quote.
I like to reply with "i am a tool brand of nike"
If it's in response to the first post, I will just post like this without a quote.
If someone says something in the thread I want to respond to, then I quote.
I do this, and feel the need to because....
Just kidding, no life stories :(
Most of the time: reply & quote.
(Was tempted to max out the character limit with Grandpa Simpson style rambling about my entire life from start to finish, but meh; can't be bothered.)
Here's a common sense answer to a dumb question.
If you're replying to someone: Reply & Quote
If you're posting in direct response to the topic or it's question: Reply.
