Yeah, he was regular.

I wonder where he is now.

In a loony bin. I doubt he will be back anytime soon.

Heaven, I remember you saying 12 Gauge was the best song on that album, and after listening to the whole album through quite a few times now, I gotta say Hook The Monster is my favorite.

Whether or not the bands listed are good is irrelevant. As long as they're Metal then they count. If the members aren't interested in adapting for the sake of the conversation in this place then they'll just leave. But you can't refuse them just cause they're not reeling off lists of obscure bands.

We ask that you list 10 Metal bands. You've listed 3. You need about 3 or 4 more that you like to get in.

I'm listening to the new Agalloch album at the moment, so far it is just fantastic.
I'm only just finishing the third song so I have a little ways to go till it's done but if the second half is as good as the first i'll be happy.
Cool opening song that leads right into a song that reminded me of "She Painted Fire Across The Skyline"
I don't wanna spoil it for you though, but I definetly recommend this album.

Also I got the new Abigail Williams, and I agree nothing very amazing about it, seems like they're just turning into another generic black metal band with no defining sound. Very dissapointing cause In The Shadow Of A Thousand Suns was such a great album.

Ehhh. To each his own. After loving The Shadow Of a Thousand Suns so much, I ran to my record store to see if they had In The Abscence of Light. And they did. So, I picked it up, and I did really like it. Not as good as The Shadow Of a Thousand Suns, but a great black metal record any ways. And they have gone on record as saying that In The Abscence of Light is more expiramenting with their sound, trying to see if they can enhance their black metal ability, they'll probably add the more symphonic sounds back later.

Uhm it's just a term some people use to describe like "true" black metal, not too many people actually say it though so no need to worry about it haha.

Living in Norway makes you tr00. You can name your band in Norwegian and it's not silly because you live there. Because I bet some American bands do that. Shit, I did that too.

Kvit in Norwegian means "white".

It's Kvlt it's an "L" not an "I" there, comes from Cult. Interesting though that 1 letter off is an actual Norwegian word.

Did I say so? I think 12 Gauge, Hook The Monster, Godeye and One Of Fail are the best. But that's just stupid, cause the whole fucking album is just awesome!

Haven't heard of that many Norwegian metal bands to be honest. I've heard of Kvelertak, Enslaved, Purified In Blood and Keep Of Kalessin.

Then you are missing on one of the greatest metal scenes :O Btw, Blood Red Throne are touring with Enslaved and Dimmu Borgir right now. Not that I care about Dimmu... but the two other bands are metal legends.

Well, I must admit I don't listen much to black metal. I listen mostly to heavy metal and thrash metal. Though I like Kvelertak a lot, and they're like this hardcore punk, black metal, rock 'n' roll type of thing.
