Something new.

Not really eye catching "Art" but the mock up of a three way chess set I am Building. Three main "Battlefields" and three "ally" spaces. Making on big Hexagon. This is start of a series of WIPS. I'll explain more as I go along. This is going to be a fun learning curve. Also the background color decided not to load? weird.

So second WIP of my mock. It's colored more or less the way I want it when it is built. The colors are important. I will explain why later.

Actual size of one third of the board. I got the Box/bottom of the thing curing right now. When it is ready i will take a pic. The board will be cut mirror with a copper/silver/gold tint with a frosted checkerboard cut glass top. (pics to come because it is hard to explain, but I have shattered many panes of glass trying to cut the pieces I need, so it may be a while).

The Idea of the game is a three way chess. The sides being Gold, Silver, Copper. Based of fey's "old courts" from the story of Witchwood (a Larp this piece is commissioned for) It will be a Hexagon board with three Ally spaces each containing five ally factions representing the fifteen "new courts" each having it's own set of 1 of Queen, Bishop, Knight, Rook. This is so if a pawn makes it to the opponent's court's end, instead of taking a captured piece back (though you can if you wish) you may take from the ally "court" this is for people who play by the multiple queen rule in chess. The allies are Earth,Water, Fire, Air, Blood. Light, Dark, Shadow, Dusk, Dawn. Grass, Ice, Magma, Desert, Clay. The Gold court will be represented by gold trees and shrub pawns. Silver will be silver decayed buildings and skull pawns. Copper will be Copper Animals with a Lion king, Tiger Queen, and Bear Bishops (yes, I went there,) with Squirrel pawns. Maple leaf and acorn motifs will be present. I will try and update a little more frequently.

WIP.

Toy sword I rebuilt for my Girlfriend's cousin's kid. It was originally a dollar tree foam sword that the dog got a hold of. The foam blade was completely destroyed. the handle was chewed upon. So I replaced the foam with 5/8th's pipe insulation ductaped it together then coated it in Flex Seal then painted it. Should be slightly more dog proof.

I made a Geaorge Takei Stein. Mainly in response to a post he made on FB.

So Kinsei drew the Eight Great Drunken Immortals for me so I could etch them on steins and a beer picture for a wedding present for my friend. I will try and get better picture later. Due to time and my camera dying, I will post a couple semi sucky ones I managed to snap before the camera quit.

Well here's another of the not so sucky pics.

So my friend was playing the new Mario game for the Wii U. Apparently when you die you can see messages from other players about the level. He was doing the ghost house level and got this message: "Don't blink. Don't ever blink. Blink and you are dead. They are fast. Faster tan you can imagine. Do not blink." I thought the Idea of Mario/ Doctor Who, Boos/ Weeping Angels was quite funny. So I made a picture. I'm sure it sucks but it was fun to do.

Kinsei, I agree, but we both know this ain't my strong suit. I'm surprised it even resembles Mario and a Boo.

Mario was kinda bothering me, so I took him out.

Playing around testing out some things.

I may be obsessing a bit, but I keep needing to fidget with it.
