I feel your pain. According to the halo wiki it's the greatest amount of credits (66k) that you'll ever need at the moment to increase to the next level.

It's worth it when you finally reach captain. The exp goes back down to 23K per level. Much more tolerable. I'm almost a Major at this point.

Let people boost up to LT Colonel before they release the new ranks.
Then people run out of commendations.
In order to rank up, forced to play matchmaking.

Oh and I forgot to mention Bungie haven't released when they are releasing the new ranks but it's already been shown through hackers and stuff that it is possible to rank up above LT Colonel, and when you go back online it caps you back down to LT Colonel.

Anyone having input lag issues playing Reach online in co-op campaign or firefight?
My friend is getting it when we try to play together and it's such a shame, we were looking so forward to playing co-op campaign.
Reach really loses it's value for me if all we have to play together is Matchmaking, I hope Bungie is able to do something about this soon.
