Reviews for "A Ghostly Journey"

Not a bad game. I personally don't like it too much, but that's just me. Keep it up, I feel like you have a lot of potential

Good game! 3 things though :

- It took me 5-8 levels to understand that I couldn't press right/left + up (jump) + space. It was kind of frustrating at first, but eventually I figured out that before pressing space, I need to let go left/right or up key.

- Was frustrating to redo all a level (especially the last one) when you understood that you missed the soul in the level.

- I got all the souls but I don't have the medal "set them free"

Half-star for each of those.

Thanks for the comments drak231!

Unfortunately some keyboards don't allow 3 keys to be pressed when one of the keys is Space. B is the alternate key for possess/unpossess which shouldn't have the same problem
The 'Set Them Free' medal is awarded when you enter the last soul gate that needs 35 souls

Like this game, good job.

This is pretty well done. I have been working on a game almost exactly like this for a while now (about a year or so). I had to put it on the back burner to work on some other projects but this is very close to what I am working on. Haha. You did a nice job with it.

Solid game. Interesting take on the puzzle-platforming and the levels were well designed. Difficulty wasn't bad. When the difficulty ramped up (Limbo levels), the check-point system was more than forgiving. Ending was a nice touch. The 100% ending was underwhelming and the world map could have shown where you have already collected souls, but those two are just nitpicking at a nice submission. Great game!
