For the month of January we have disabled ads on all E-M content. We need 192 people to reach our January goal of 3,000 active supporters. If we hit that, we'll continue with a new goal in February!

Reviews for "Valthirian Arc 2"

I love this gameeee its perfect!!!!!!!!!!

its really great game, very addicting. but the ending is not enough for this game i think. no music, no graphics, bad celebration. that was dissapointing.

overally it was great to spend time on it. great work, thanks.

great game !!

but here is kinda painfull things:
- searching and checking students each time for a quest (party preset needed)
- graphic bugs! some times location loaded without graphics o__0
- no hotkeys for quest window, students window etc
- when every one run and fight, selected char just standing and waiting for something =.=
- there was no music in the final scene and credits !! :(

keep up the good work) cheers !! ^__^

I'm not sure but, are we really supposed to wait hours for "errand" mission?
is there no "quicken" button or something?

First Impression:
(--) No instructions on how to navigate my character around map, even if it was easy to learn by self.
(+) I like the voice-acting.
(+) Background music was satisfactory.
(+) Graphics were improved in comparison to previous instalment. (Smoother colouring.)
(+) Monster's location hinted by "!". I cannot emphasize enough on the convenience.
(--) No instructions to tell how to move around academy interior. (Click and drag.)
(+) Interesting "Build Room" add-on feature.
(--) Menu couldn't be brought up during dialogue moments. (Mildly frustrating.)
(+) "What To Do" briefly run through in dialogue in a visual novel fashion. Brownie points from me.
(+) Endearing sprite animations.
(--) Dungeon BGM was annoying; take this as a subjective comment.
(+) Implementing habits into students was a great idea.
(--) "Deal or No Deal" style was unpleasant for the Recruit system this time.
(+) Students can individually handle errands, awesome!

Graphics: 4/5 (Not the best, but still plenty to ogle at.)
Sounds: 4/5 (Fitting ambience; however, it feels "lacking".)
Interface: 5/5 (Despite the lack of a complete tutorial, it was well planned.)
Controls: 5/5 (Mouse controlled, with 1~4 Leader Assignment shortcut.)
Gameplay: 5/5 (Different features keep player engaged much more than VA1.)
Overall: 4.5 stars (4.6 stars)
