Reviews for "Geneva Convection"

A cool idea but I found it to be incredibly difficult. Perhaps a slower difficulty curve or a slightly more involved tutorial could help.

Complicated but fun :D

I appreciate that you had to make it in 72 hours but I feel this was too ambitious a project - this sort of in depth game play requires buildup and the sort of game design which takes more than 72 hours - having said that once I read through the author's comments I had a much better chance of winning and the game turned from a clusterfuck to a good challenge.

Ugh. Great concept, decent controls, and very easy to pick up the controls with a little experimentation. Excellent job! However...There seems to be a scripted failure of the capacitor room about 8 minutes in that causes automatic game loss. Even with the capacitor at 0 heat (blue), and the capacitor cooler at maximum red (flashing), the cooler depletes to blue faster than the cap can be repaired. You quickly get stuck in a cycle where you repair it, one second goes by, then it explodes. I know this is is just a Cody Hardcore weekender, but please take a day or two and FIX THIS BEAUTIFUL THING!!!

that happens if you let it go over 100% charge without firing the laser

Not so hard to understand, I actually found it quite fun... People used to seeing easy and casual games with huge amounts of tutorials to tell them exactly how they do and what they do, this reminds of the old and awesome hard games. I believe this game has great potential, and I mean it =) Dialogues are funny too!

Too all those struggling to understand what the game is about and how it is played... Look at the author comments, it may help you... I learned out the hard way, you dont need to ;)
