Reviews for "Geneva Convection"

this game is awful. it's like being given a fuzzy picture of a hairstyle and then asked to replicate it on yourself underwater with a spoon. it looks like there's so much potential, but after destroying the first 2 cities, you can't do anything that the game wants you to do. i can't even launch a satellite - i've reset this game 6 times and fucked with all the valves, especially the satellite room one, all to no benefit. once it begins to overheat, there's nothing that can be done.
stick to graphics, the game looks pretty. get someone else to come up with an actual viable idea for you.

Looks great, sounds promising, but of those 72 hours you should have spent a few on usability and balancing. Not on writing a tutorial (which nobody reads) but on obvious introduction of mechanics. How about a smaller plant 1?

This felt like starting a TD game in level 50 on Hard. Within a minute, the plant will overheat and explode. You don't understand EVERYTHING straight away? BOOM! Never make a player lose by inaction, especially in the intimidating first level.

Glaiel-Gamer responds:

you lose fast if you don't get the game cause I hate when a tower defense game makes you wait 30 minutes to realize you did something wrong early on

Terrible tutorial

Shitty is shitty

When I expected Minimalism, I expected to not have to micromanaged 30 things at once. This could have been better if you SLOWLY gained more and more features, but even then it still isn't minimalistic. You just require too much input all at once and it's so easy to fail that the game isn't all that much fun.
