As a game, this fails. It's hardly enough to be even called a game with how limited the actual "gameplay" is. It's obvious you wanted to make some sort of dark deep (aka pretentious) story, and just decided to jump on the "art game" bandwagon and made a uninspired pixelated mess like everyone else in the genre.
Either make an actual game with real gameplay, or make a damn movie. Putting the two together does not a masterpiece make.
What I don't like in this game is you stuck in those little holes...but it's a good game..but next time make sure your characters aren't too small..but I like it's simplicity.
I liked the Soundtrack and the story.
Although it was more of an "interactive Short-Story" than a game, it was kinda interesting.
The walking part in the end lasts way too long and some kind of "The game has ended now" would be nice, too.
Very nice story, nice design too! And even though I didn't understand the language the cues were in, I was able to figure it out easily enough so that's another point for you! Better game play is my only hold back. As a pixel, you're fine! It's the parts with the giant...it's WAY too slow and the reward is...well, there really is none.
Keep it up though! I'd love to see something else from you!
