The game is simple enough, run, jump, die, restart, and try to get farther each time. Though the game is simple, the controls are slippery and every once in a while the jump delays but its still a good enough time waster.

Yeah, sorry about the simplicity there, I'll try and work on the controls. Glad it was a good time-waster, though. :).
kinda wanted to make it to a huggy part, but the same old, same old, jumping puzzles got me down. also the lack of a save point. however, the music was not obnoxious. and the graphics were fairly smooth. seriously though. the reason why mario got to jump on things and shoot things is because doing the same six jumping puzzles over and over, is not "challenging." its frustrating.

That's a totally fair point, and a criticism I'd make myself - bar the jumping, there's not a lot to it. Hopefully my future efforts will be ones you'll enjoy more!
Cute idea and decently executed but extremely laggy, and I very seldom have lag issues on Newgrounds. I'd rate it higher if not for that.
