seeing this episode as a "trial and error", the animation was not perfect but it was nice, storywise...this was more like a short teaser movie than an actual episode, characters were well made, the only problem is the sound but since you are off to get a new one i dont see it as any major thing.
well, as you said its being a learning experience and i really think that it has some serious potential as you get the hang of it.

You could of done better
The voice was a little bit soft, and the animation was kind of lazy with the unimportant people. But I could see this video perfect if you just added a little more time to it. Nice job man! :D

I thought the voice-acting and animation could be more fluent but overall nicely done.
Good but that name...
The animation was good - scenes a bit rushed. Voice acting needed to be in sync more. The voice acting needed a little bit more personality. The movies a little bit longer.
I like the story, I'm sure as time goes on the who/what/where will be explained.
However, the name... Was I not the only one who thought dirty?

Nice Ideas
This has potential, for sure, but there are some technical issues that should be addressed so your hard work will be that of a higher standard.
The sounds of the music, voices, background sounds etc. need to be compressed and equalized so they sound more natural and put together.
The story was kind of difficult to grasp, it was difficult to decipher who the main characters were and why they're in the situations that occur.
I do like anime and this definitely has that feel to it, which is cool.
You have talent and vision that shows, and I think that in time you can produce good flicks.
