It was nice
The sound and voice acting was great, and even though the characters had big heads, it was still nice. You should work on the animation though, it felt really awkward and needs more work.

Up and coming Artist, methinks
While the story so far is good, the series itself is as you said, not as high quality as many that are circulating.
The sound was good, although I'm assuming you don't work in a studio so the little fluctuations in the track were to be expected, and were not a problem.
There is some jagged movement, whereas what it seems you were going for was smoothness. Don't get me wrong, the drawings were great, but it lacked a certain fluidity.
The comedy was great, what with the commercials.
Use of lighting was very well thought out, and made the scene have a flavor to it that makes it memorable.
Personally, I can't wait to see the rest, if this was done years ago!

-For all of you reading this, if you look in at the TV commercials you see a 2 second clip of a cartoony blonde guy getting hit in the face with a ball. THATS THIS GUY!! hahaha, i know him personally lol

But you should come back for the later episodes! my male lead is a great actor.
I did the main female voice of Rain (chick with the red hair) but its pretty hard to be an animatorand an actor if you know what i mean! But this portion of the movie isnt really the chattiest either.
A drama with a need for flair
The story has a decent pace as far as shorts go, my initial impression is that of suspense or maybe even a thriller, a rare flash trait. It's just enough to draw the viewer in and keep them wanting more.
I'm seeing a double edged sword effect in the art. On one hand, you've taken the time to do the shading and lighting in your characters and background. Though you miss out on other things like giving characters a bland look or style, and tiny details such as the officer's badge. (Name was there, but it felt like a last minute bolt-on)
The animation is unbelievable at points giving the characters a staggering look, animation and art should go hand in hand.
I'm enjoying the voice acting so far, though it's not the best, it's working. From time to time I hear hear breath hitting the mic (though that's no reflect on the artist, just the actor.)
All in all, keep evolving.
