Wierd....

The Audio and voice Acting is really mediocre. Story is Interesting but I felt the beginning to this was a bit TOO slow. I liked Ep1 alot more, it was dramatic and to the point. It would have been much better if you had her wake up, have a brief news report on in background while she answers her friend calling her on phone. She heads out in car and on the way she happens to come by this guy on ground maybe through officer in somewhere before. That all happening in under 3 minutes. There was alot of dry scenes when not much happened. Work on that and your set :P I wanna know what happens next.

I agree with you. Looking back this is pretty slow. I would fix it but I actually finished this portion 2 years ago and have moved on. Your review was very helpful though, please check out my newer stuff once I get it up here. Id love to hear what you think!

Not bad...

Wasn't a huge fan of the walking animations (they looked a little rough), but other than that, it's a great style of animation. I enjoyed it, and it seems a lot of effort has been put into it. It was a little on the long side, but the pacing was perfect, and I didn't really ever feel like it was standing still. Kudos, and keep up the good work!

Hmmm... hard to judge this.

Ok, first off. I really appreciate the effort you went into this with... it is a lot better than most of the anime junk that passes through the portal.

The visuals were GREAT but the animation was not. Don't get me wrong, the animation was good, but if you're using visuals of such high quality like the ones in your movie you need quality animation to match it. I know you've mentioned your series, but instead of spending time on a 60 minute piece with great visuals and decent animation... try making a shorter piece with amazing visuals and amazing animation... looking at your style I know you could do it oh so easily.

Your storyline is quite good though, especially in comparison to other anime series that get thrown on here. You've taken something that's a little more realistic, you've made the characters more unique.

On that note. Kill your voice actors. Sorry to say it but they really destroyed a lot of character development in this. With better voice actors you can have a more convincing and better set out list of characters.

Once again, thanks for putting in effort with this, the score you recieved does not match the one you should have received, so I'm giving you a 5 to try and boost it up.

Looking forward to the rest of the series.

Quick Pro, Con, Improvements Review

Okay, I just noticed this on the Flash Portal today and just finished the preview and 1st episode. I will try to keep this brief. [Checked the site as I was typing this and noticed this project is more developed than I had thought, so I cut out irrelevant chucks of this review... trust me it is still a great review :)]

-Pros-
*I am enjoying the story so far based on the preview and what has happened so far. Great hook.
*Enjoyed the look of the artwork, and if your profile picture is any indicator of look of the future episodes, then we are in for a treat.
*Some people are incredibly picky with it comes to voice acting, but I thought they did okay for the characters they portrayed.

-Cons-
*I hate to mention it since you stated this was made in 06, but the animation is a bit lacking compared to other flashes nowadays. Normally, I would disregard this, but I am mentioning this again in case people skipped over the fact that this was done in 06.

-Improvements-
*Hopefully better animation once the series progresses.
*In regards to the length, I think you should split the series based upon how the scenes flow, and not due to time. By doing this you avoid any awkwardness from each of these flash submissions. However, you have to bear in mind that longer scenes produce a larger size, and people with slower connections are likely going to pass on that... If dial-up users still exist?

-Final note-
A great anime story that is sure to become a hit. A solid 8 out of 10. Good luck splitting the scenes and I am sure many Newgrounders, including me, will look forward to the next episode.
