Reviews for "The Chicken Rodeo"

To tell the truth,

I was expecting something a little wackier than that with the title of "Chicken Rodeo". That being said, I thoroughly enjoyed it and I like how the end lets you interpret it how you want.

Fellow writer

I actually just finished writing a novel, and am taking a break before the editting process so I really related to that guy. At the same time, I didn't let it control me as much as he did and in some respects he should given her more of his time.
I didn't care about not knowing the ending, and with something this serious, I'm not sure I would. The tears suggest they both knew it was over, but by not showing it we can all give ourselves the perfect end. I like to think the cat scratched the other guys balls off myself.
Beautiful work.

great, but i need some closure

i really enjoyed the music and the animation. i dont mind the framerate, it probably allowed u to make this as long as it was. actually i wish it was longer! long enough to give some closure, or some eventual happiness for the protagonist of the story. i just ended up feeling bad for him, and now im sad :(. keep up the good work tho, i still was entertained.

For the most part, I liked it...and yet...

The thing is, if I'm going to watch something sad, I'd rather not have it be about depressing relationship issues such as neglect and cheating. I like a healthy dose of EMO, but the ending just left me cold.

Just leaving it like that at the end leaves me feeling disappointed and ticked off.

I know the guy is probably far too docile - not to mention, a 48-lb. weakling - but if I came home to that, I'd throw them both out on the street. No questions. No answers. Just their asses on the pavement, change the locks, goodbye.

Extremely slow story progression plus one of the most painfully bleak endings I've ever seen equals me not being as impressed as I was hoping to be. There's no resolution. Clearly, the guy needed to pay more attention to her, but what's wrong with verbal communication? Are we all so proud and emotionally constipated that we can't even convey our feelings to the people we love anymore? Bah.

Too depressing. Period.
