Well, here I am again, almost three years after I uploaded my first animation to Newgrounds. I've stayed within my processed boundaries of hard frame-by-framing, but never hard enough to make it look any better than the much more common cheap tweening. In any case this is my first project of this quality, which I guess isn't terrible for a 17-year old with other hobbies. It took roughly 7 months, maybe 5 if I count the times when I actively decided to animate.

I never intend to pull heartstrings with my shorts, for if that was my intent, I feel the story would be overly-simplified, which just isn't my style. But no one in their right mind would really want to go and psychoanalyze something of this quality, either. (You can say isn't an absurdist/existentialist expression, or a critique on retributive justice or bias towards cute things or whatever.) this little short probably won't make it to the front page (then again not everything on the front page is good) or be selected for my school's special prestigious senior independent project presentation thing, but in any case, I sincerely hope you're enjoy it.

I sometimes wish that one day I can just animate something nice and silly like Furi Kuri (Fooly Cooly, FLCL, same deal) but for now I'm way too gloomy of a character to make something like that. You'll probably see me with something else in the future.

Thank you for your time, Newgrounds. I've never been able to properly repay you, as I've long outgrown my 13-year old self's days, and I'm not going to go wade through the muddle of those creatures to find something productive I might hear.

Well that was both sad and beautiful. The sketchy style of animation looks good, the atmosphere simple but all the people full of expression. That female voice was a bit low though, had to turn up the volume a bit to hear her, could've been balanced bettern in comparisson to ther voices. But either way, this was great, hope the next animation won't be 3 years off. :) Keep up the good work!

Awesome job your scene choice and story telling was awesome. The mechanical skills and mastery of flash will come later. Only critique was the level of the voices sometimes got jumbled

....started as a solid 4, but then the those guys on the street appeared and the story went down the toilet, THEY KILLED A CAT, AND THE CAT IS IN A FUCKING BOX W-H-A-T-H-E-F-U-C-K
Pissed off, why did u kill the damn cat, literally nonsense,go get some mental health attention AS SOON AS POSSIBLE..

.....DAMN.

Where the quality could use some work, no ammount of skill can replace time put into a project. This was a quite good one, and at leas 70% longer the a good number of the animations put up here. Story is always more important then graphics, and there is alot of story here.

I look forward to seeing more work from you in the future, you can only get better with each project eh?

I liked this. I don't care about the animation quality, the structure or the voice acting. A lot of people out there can replicate those qualities at a professional level. What I do care about is that you spent a lot of time on this and put your heart and soul into it, telling a unique story with familiar assets.
It's very honest for what it is.

Thanks for making this, I am impressed :)
