Enjoy a sport that has been the pass-time of kings, hunters and warriors for 4000 years!

George Plimpton's Video Falconry was brought to our attention by the Judge John Hodgman podcast. Originally made for the Colecovision in 1983, we've gone to great lengths to painstakingly port one of the few existing copies.

Now wait, the developer of this game was actually called Newgrounds? With the tank and tankman? Is this real? Or is this a joke? I'm so confused.

Nice game btw, it's quite addictive and looks pretty good. The controls are quite weird and complicated, I supose it was the same for the original console version.

TomFulp responds:

The history behind the game is all pretend, it never actually existed before.

Classic Game. I only wish I knew how to unlock Golden Eagle mode.

no bueno going for the commies on this one !

Yippee ki-yay Mr Falcon.

Quite a good game, but the controls are very hard to use. I keep pressing the wrong buttons that that. Still it's quite a good game, and a hotplate !

TomFulp responds:

The whole game was built around a pretend cheat code made up by John Hodgman, so it required making a ton of buttons and working out from there. I agree it's a mess :)
