Man there's a lot of awesome art and ideas coming in. Coming up with concepts is not one of my strong suits. It seems everything I come up with has an "O" at the end ^_^. I was thinking "HobO's" with some sort of "hobo knife" prize, or something along those lines. I really wish i could come up with something more creative, but school is really kicking my ass.

And before people start accusing me of tracing... Yeah, I traced Frodo, Gollum and the Fellowship. If Utah decides to disqualify my entry, It's fine. I just thought it was a pretty decent idea.

This recent discussion about tracing made me think. Of course it's annoying to see people showing off stuff they didn't make, pretending it to be original. Like that guy Utah mocked on the description. However, I don't see tracing as being essentially and unconditionally bad. As long as there's the subjective element going on, you can't even call a traced job a copy.

I'm just saying that because it seems people sometimes associate art with original work only. But, in my humble opinion, there's much more to it. Insight, hardwork, harmony... luck. If you go to radical about art as being original, you wouldn't even be able to use Fonts in your submissions, since you didn't make them yourself. So you people be more open minded.

and I think the winner so far really is the Dia-Bee-Tes.
For some of the ones I didn't pick, I did like the art, but didn't sway me from a cereal box design standpoint. Some of you could stand to take a hard look at a cereal box and see how they are laid out.
Also, from a grammar standpoint. When doing the Os think carefully on whether or not you want the apostrophe. The apostrophe is only there because it means possession. Take Frodo's for example. That would mean that the cereal belongs to Frodo, which in that case is acceptable. As for one such as AcidO's (above Frodo's) that would pretty much be incorrect.

Yeah, the Frod-O's one was really funny, but the Porn-O's were just plain wrong. I was not entertained by it at all and whoever did it was really immature. here's mine. It shows up blurry, too.
