I'd assume some, but they said most are invincible.

Yeah, because one character can ruin a game. You're not forced to fight with someone.

Not exactly. If you don't want to play as the character, you DON'T have to. Even if it's story mode. Let a friend of yours play a character that you don't enjoy using. That usually works...well...most of the time anyways. :/

He turns into super sonic and flies around doing major damage to whoever he touches.

Peach's final smash is kind of cool. It's like taking a break from the fighting to heal, then kicking everybody. Or hitting them with golf club/tennis racket/frying pan.
