See that is fair. I rarely do look at lesser categories because it feels meaningless. No one really talks about anything important anyway it's always such vague and random stuff and you could say who cares to argue and debate with random faces people as well, but if we are going to talk let's talk about things that are wrong or that could make things better, just like with art, instead of simply our top ten favorite songs or what your favorite fruit is.

I think if theres one thing to take away from this I suppose would be from the perspective of the artist, your comments while true to you, and possibly even objectively true in some situations are probably not welcome and arent going to be recieved well. There will sometimes be exceptions. You have no control over this and theres not really going to be a way to know in advance without asking the artist directly beforehand. I know all types of erotic artist, ones that can barely stand even sharing their artwork out of embarassment, some that revel in any kind of attention, some that are protective of their oc's, some that use masks to hide how they really feel. I would say most on average would be offput by your descriptions, should that make you stop? In my opinion.. no. Art is meant to be witnessed, and part of the agreement to posting it for people to see is to get feedback.

Anybody you're referring to specifically? I find alot of NSFW artists get upset by the community for not getting enough attention or feedback (amusingly enough) as well as it being a divisive subject matter. Consumers on NG apparently love it, other content creators can be offput or almost militaristically opposed to it. The reason why is because porn gets more attention, this causes all sorts of monkey buisiness within the art creation circle.

It's also funny to me you mentioned XwaynecoltX because I actually only joined this site for Ghost Motel which he and Violet-AIM put up and it seems I'm never gonna get to see that concluded as I've watched both make other content, but for some reason can't finish their absolute best work. So there is that. But TheShadling comes to mind. One of my favorite artists and like many others, this is just one example, they've stopped. I will try to find another that has content that people may not be a big fan of, but he just also stopped posting.

And a last point before I have to go for a good few hours, I find it odd that people, even when they think they are trying to make a point, think they can make a valid one when they aren't taking in the full content of the conversation. When I see someone posts too long didn't read I wonder why these people are even here. If you don't have time to read my statement what right do you have to be involved? And are you even fully watching a movie an artist made? Do you skim through books and then write reviews?

What do you have of your time to contribute like this artist contributed their time to their work? And why should you be allowed to form an opinion without fully even being interested in understanding what is being discussed? For the people who have not only done it in this thread but in others.

But the whole thing about including a rating on how hot you thought the cashier was in your Yelp review for a McDonald's is both genuinely kinda creepy to think about and absolutely doesn't back up your point in the same way your comment about horror content does, as people generally don't come to McDonald's to gawk at the cashier (unless they were to see your review and go over to visit and press their faces to the glass.)
However, the horror comment doesn't even hold up to scrutiny because there's a difference between describing how something scared you (for the purpose of comparison this is equivalent to describing how you thought it was hot. Whether or not the art accomplished these two things at once is anyone's guess) and making considerable tangents in your review about how you now have developed a phobia of whatever the horror piece is about, keep hallucinating the thing is there, have nightmares about it and as such have trouble sleeping and need to go to a therapist (which for comparitive sakes is when you make comments about how you personally want to fuck this woman in the ass, or how the animator needs to animate someone else doing that or how you want to engage in this threesome that the artist has depicted) because the former is a comment on the artist's ability to do their job (i.e. "Hey, you made her pretty hot. I particularly like how you rendered this part of her, but the perspective here is a bit off and could use some work. Good job my guy!") and the other is a personal experience (i.e. "This made me so fucking erect, I wish I could make her make that face, but alas she's not real, so I must sit idly, tube steak in hand, until I cum.") that the average person doesn't want to read about, especially since the audience, which is almost indubitably comprised mainly of straight males as far as the content you review is concerned, does not want to hear about your dick.
Also there's just a general quality to the way that you write things that makes it come across as stranger than it would be coming from someone else but I'm not proposing you fix that, because it makes me laugh.
