Your favorite OLD animations? 2012-07-26 17:10:07

Hey everyone, recently I started going through some of my old favorites on this site. Watching some of these videos that I haven't seen in 10+ years was a very surreal feeling, but I loved it. It got me to thinking of all of the hundreds of hidden gems there are hidden in the portal under the tens of thousands of movies. I don't care about the newer stuff, I am talking about the OLD great (2005 and before). I guess this kind of limits the people who can respond to those people who have been around for a while, but regardless I want to watch some of these old gems. If anyone has any of there favorite movies from the early 2000's, post them. I will definitely watch them, and looking through your old favorites, or seeing some of the videos other people post may bring back some memories. I know it did for me. Here are a few of my old all-time favorites that I recently re-discovered. If you are going to post a link, at least provide a brief explanation of it.

A View to a Kill - A 2001 animation. Back at the time I remember I thought the animation was amazing, and the music just sucked you in. Also a very cool concept for a story. Used to watch this all of the time. Only about 2 minutes long.

To Kill an Assassin 3 - An animation from 2000, also with the word kill in it, haha. This was an extremely popular series if you were around back in the 2000's. Not much animation, more of a comic book style with a pretty neat story and awesome music. The most serious of the series.

Kong - Another 2001 animation, and at the time it was regarded as the most amazing animations out there. At least in my eyes. I think this inspired a lot of the flash animators, and reset the bar.

Evolution - A fairly more recent animation (2005) that has a serious, depressing feel to it. Great music, and very beautiful animation.

There are too many others to name, if other people start enjoying this, which there is a very good chance they will not lol, then I will post more. I just want some of these oldschool amazing animations to see light again, or they will forever be trapped in the darkness of the portal. Give them life one last time.

That's the first thing I ever saw on Newgrounds. My brother showed it to me when I was 6. I did not enjoy it.

It was the first cartoon that introduced me to Newgrounds, back when I was but a wee lad (I was about six at the time).
