When you text on your phone do you use the dictionary or do you type manually?
I'd rather die a Wolf fighting against the Herder, than die a Sheep heading for the slaughter.

YES
I didn't top up my phone since december because I didn't use it enough for it to be worth it. But I typed manually. Because I only got a phone from september to december and the dictionary pissed me off. I was writing full sentences/words though.
My signature was old so I changed it.

Ohh god I know.
I told people that if they text me with improper grammar, that I will not respond. Maybe by doing this, we can TRY to make the world a little smarter :D.

Manually, I know its unnatural to type full words in a text message...
I, personally, use my phone to make phone calls. I really see no point in text messages. I could easily fit the equivalent of 38 back-and-forth-replied text messages in a one minute phone call. The fact that shit like this and this happens is just crazy.
Not only are these people destroying verbal communication, they are also destroying the English language. IDK MY BFF JILL LOL W UR S3 U L8R DNO!
It's just appalling...
Before I had my iPhone, I was all about T9. For someone who's borderline obsessive compulsive about typing full sentences, full words, and with proper punctuation at all times, it really helped to use the T9. I became so adept with it that I was able to memorize what order which words appeared in and type out full texts without so much as a glance at the phone.
LITTLE KNOWN FACT: WHEN YOUR PHONE GUESSES THE WRONG WORD, PRESS YOUR DOWN BUTTON. IT WILL GUESS THE NEXT MOST LIKELY WORD. In this way, you can type out the first couple letters, then just press down until you hit the right word. If you just keep adding letters, it will keep guessing but not actually insert your word until you hit space or period or whatever else.
Anyway, iPhone did away with all that. The full keyboard plus reasonably accurate word guessing software took some getting used to, but now I've no problem texting out full messages in a matter of seconds.
I manually text about 98% of the time. Only found out what T9 was yesterday when my cousin told me on the way home from my grandma's funeral.
I still prefer typing it out--makes my thumbs go fast weeeee

That's the way to be.

I write in full, perfect grammar. Everyone I text tlks lke ths. I mn, wtf? Srsly.
I usually use the dictionary, I have a blackberry, and it's not a dumbshit phone such as the iPhone thinking you're trying to type rice instead of "bvike" meaning bike, misspelled, I don't know I just made that up. The blackerry always corrects perfectly, and put's apostrophes where they should be.
