The game over theme was one of the first pieces I thought up for Oni Yu, and I'd been inspired by a lot of Japanese-sounding music in games to make something like this. It's quite short, but playing the game with this music and a sudden red-tinted screen signifying I'm dead is quite the frightening thing for me.
