music nerd stuff:

one of the more experimental cuts on Theotria

this song's chord progression is all minor chords going through the circle of fifths, which i thought is quite fun.

there's also a lot of percussion, inspired by atoms for peace. and some of the percussion is polymetric. thought that would spice up the textural aspect a bit further.

one of my favorite parts is the bass synth coming in about halfway through the song. using helm, i made a pretty simple patch, added a resonant filter to it and randomized the frequency. the result almost sounds kind of drippy.

had a lot of fun with the vocal processing on this one too.
