Got The Feeling

André : Like "Action", this song was composed before the MA era. I had taped some of my ideas before the MA era for Sean and he wrote lyrics for this particular piece. The only thing that was a bit "difficult" was that the song didn't match MA stylistically because of its disco/pop style. We recorded it anyway and wondered what we would do with the song in the future. We soon came up with the idea that we could release songs like "Got The Feeling" under a different name alongside MA. But the idea never came to fruition and so "Got The Feeling" is somehow part of MA's repertoire. And that's okay, too. Then it won't be so lonely. :)

Sean : I received a short snippet (1:40) of this song in 3/92 and we recorded a version a month later that sounded a bit unfinished (cold ending). Another month passed and André came up with a piano solo and a more proper ending. This version was recorded in 10/92. I always liked the fact that the lines of the different verses don't always correspond to the same lines in the music.
