Reviews for "Guild Dungeons 2"

this game is stupid, you have to keep clicking buttons to assign troops and you can only assign 1 troop at time besides max; the fact that there is no clear display of power levels of different quests makes it difficult to start out in the beginning and the role of party leaders so far made little to no significance.

3/10 change game mechanics.

I was going to say that I didn't really get into it, but then I realized how many hours I had been playing. Tons of other reviews have already mentioned all the good and bad of this game, so instead, here is the crafting and spells I found (possibly on the internet):

Spells:

Stone Golem Earth, Ruby
Lightning Bolt Thunder, Garnet
Enchanted Weapons Force, Citrine
Black Bone Swords Death, Citrine
Firebolt Fire, Force, Ruby
Blood Boil Air, Death, Garnet
Healing Aura Air, Nature, Amethyst
Icebolt Ice, Force, Aquamarine
Enriched Soil Earth, Nature, Garnet
Boulder Smash Fire, Earth, Force, Citrine

Smithing:

Black Staff Onyx, Onyx, Onyx, Onyx, Onyx
Serpent Spear Wood, Wood, Wood, Wood, Onyx
Holder Bands Onyx, Flame, Wood, Leaf, Pearl
The Redshield Scale, Scale, Scale, Scale, Flame
Ancient Bracer Bear Tooth, Mycelium, Feather, Coral, Dragon Fossil
Rookery Clasp Feather, Feather, Feather, Feather, Feather
Butterfly Pendant Coral, Coral, Meteorite, Antler, Pearl
Ogre Charm Coral, Scale, Scale, Scale, Flame

One note about smithing - the order you input materials DOES matter. So, four scales then flame gives you The Redshield, while flame then four scales gives you NOTHING. Just a hint if anyone wants to try and figure more out.

Also, population increase happens during the day, while taxes are collected at the END of the turn. So, keep taxes on minimum during the turn for max pop growth, switch over to MAX taxation at the last second, get your awesome taxes, then switch back to min tax. Your population is happy and growing while your pocket book is full! Also, max out population cap as quickly as possible (build hovels), and silver shouldn't give you any problems.

Lastly, when questing, READ THE REPORT. It tells you what kills your people. Traps kill your henchmen? Bring thieves. Lots of people falling to their deaths? Research ropes and climbing picks and equip them. Starvation? Rations. Disease? Antibiotics. Properly preparing for a quest makes it much easier. It seems like there is a very detailed combat/quest program running behind the scenes, so this stuff isn't just random. Good Luck!

Needs some work. Looks really nice, but there are fundamental flaws:

The missions don't tell you anything about what should be sent. The lvl 4 mission took me 5 hours to get archers. I still can't build the beast pit after beating all the missions, building all the other buildings, and having 7k of each resource. It takes waaaaaaaay too long to get any casters. Granted, you can beat the whole game without getting them, but it would have been nice to be able to buy the mushrooms. There's no way to know what buildings or missions you need to beat in order to get a specific unit, which gets fairly frustrating in itself.

Again, it looks outstanding, but looks aren't everything. Functionality is one of the most important aspects of any game.

Well first of all, I love your art ! Its beautifull and very original !
The game is really catchy although it gets repeative.. More animation or comic action would be nice.. Also RPG stuff could really help, like if the hunter takes bow, it would be awsome to see him taking it, if they find chest it would be nice to just see them open it !
Its just a sugestion..
The game is awsome anyway ! Keep up the good work !
Big fan

Ignoring the advertisement that popped up after about 20 minutes, i like these kinds of games. Slow to build, takes a little bit of thought to get the mechanics down (It took me half an hour to figure out i had to build mines to get resources, and put the tax at it's minimum to increase my population), and it isn't a "Oh, let's shoot everything up and beat the game with explosions and gunfire and total badassness", which is a rarity nowadays in good games.

Considering you can't go in guns blazing, you have to be careful not to use up all of your men in a mission that's above difficulty 2 for awhile, at least until you have a steady income of money and ores and over 50 conscripts you feel like throwing at it.

All in all, i'll give it the full score since this wasn't a joke game. Although, it can get really hard to judge how many units are required for a quest. I sent 35 conscripts, 15 henchmen, and the healer cat thing to do the difficulty 4 mission. How they fail and lose everyone, i will never understand.
